Perhaps they could all focus on better things, for now, when the imminent danger lurked. Maybe they had matured in some instances, capable of compartmentalizing the threats from the realities and hopeful things of the present – rather than the daunting future. Something to be noted in the eventuality – but for now, he’d be content in investigating cafes and restaurants with her, granting experiences and taking in the repose where they could find it.
