Appearance
Cassius, much like his animal half, exudes strength. There's an aura of nobility around him. His demeanor is often bright, hopeful, even in the face of despair. There's a swagger to his movements as if everything he does he has the upmost confidence in. He's the son of a blacksmith, and a once proud cavalryman and his body is shaped to prove it.
Personality
Hopeful would be how most would describe Cassius. He's an old soul, chivalrous and strong. The very kind of man one would find in fairy tales slaying dragons and saving damsels, but there is no arrogance about him. He's humble, the only son of a blacksmith and tavern wench. Even in this time of ruin he seeks to salvage what is left, with the hopes to rebuild what was lost and bring back a promise of new beginnings to those who seek it. He's often considered quiet, but not awkwardly so. He is just one who prefers to listen and observe, though when he speaks it is something meaningful and with purpose.
History
Cassius was a Cavalryman of a now ruined kingdom. He lived modestly with his wife, in a farm of modest crops. It was simply meant to be a peaceful place to escape the visions of war that draped over the lands of constant conflict. It was a peaceful life, and he was so very in love. Aspirations for children was always spoken of, but opportunities never came. When the plague arrived it took everything, including his wife, Mina. Then everything changed. The world, absent of light, of the life that once warmed fields and hearts. It became cold, barren, hard. Cassius found the land he once fought to defend, consumed in a barrier, separated from the world beyond. The armor of the kingdom he once defended still preserved as a beacon of who he once was. He wanders the land now, still a man of service. Helping those he comes across that are in need. A symbol of what was once good in a world that has become so dark. He carries a jade stone around his neck which belonged to Mina, a way of preserving her memory, to carry her with him always.
