Appearance
Moses-Joel heavily takes after his mother’s side of the family. From his height, his features, to the long curly locks that adorn his head, it seemed the only thing his father gave him was his status. His chiseled, diamond-shaped face is littered with freckles. Thin, entrancing eyes shine a brilliant hazel with thick, heavy-set eyebrows sitting just above them. They match the same color as his jet-black hair. A well-groomed beard and mustache line his jaw and lips, and usually his face is contorted to a genuine, hearty smile.
A short and stocky character, Perfetti stands at a below-average height. Despite his stature, Moses’ medium sized frame and mesomorphic build give him a clean split between both ends of the spectrum. Strong but fast, steadfast but anticipative, it seems that Moses was bred for his line of work: a tracker and a soldier.
Personality
Perfetti is a character all of his own. Bright, encouraging, optimistic, he seems almost too cheerful to work in his sort of environment. He loves a good laugh, a decent meal, socializing, and being among others, people he'd protect with his heart and his soul.
Yet in his usually upbeat demeanor, he also not one to be taken lightly. He knows how to be serious, how to adjust himself to the mood of a room or tone of a situation. He is not careless, either, using his common sense and his perception to his advantage. He is also not afraid of revealing emotions, something often considered weak for his gender.
History
On the Wall
Moses-Joel Perfetti was born to Lord Anthony Perfetti and Lady Andrina Perfetti. His moniker honored both his grandfather's names, and he grew up in decent affluence, surrounded by lifelong friends and a proper education. He learned to read and write, and his ability to learn came so naturally his parents wondered who gave it to him. When he was 17 years old, his father helped him enter the Storm Guard, which would end up becoming his lifelong career.
As a purest of pure Blueblood and the son of an Officer, it was only natural that he would be bred to join the Northwind military. However, what changed his reasons for joining came from his first week of work. At the time, Northwind was under siege, and he was thrown into the thick of it. His beginning duty was escorting victimized villagers safely inside the kingdom walls. While the situation was grim, he aspired to remain optimistic and hope for change, encouraging others to do the same.
Then, a portal opened up to an unknown world. Of all those chosen to go in the first wave, he and two close friends were picked. While MJ feared for the others staying behind, he knew this new world would need able-bodied soldiers to protect their citizens. Not only that, but the large number of young adults also meant eventual offspring, survival of the kingdom. He understood that one day he might be asked to fill that role as well.
He was 23 when he went through, and the trials he faced during his time in Northwind were nothing compared to what he faced now. As he performed his duties and worked diligently in the Settlement, his importance in the army grew dramatically and he became a valuable asset to the Settlement’s survival. Eventually, three years passed, and the new world they were a part of became familiar and more homely. By then, norms seemed to return for most.
It was during that third year Perfetti wed Enya Semir, honoring a marriage previously arranged by their parents. Those were the days when he was happiest! A lovely and hardworking wife, a promising future, an honorable career! He could not have asked for more! However, all that optimism and joy became drained by a series of unfortunate events.
First, they could not have children; Enya discovered she was barren, a thing many of the people dreaded. Infertility, especially in a new settlement, was never a good sign for survival. Then, the loss of their third friend, the one who’d journeyed with them through the portal. Finally, Enya discovered that her infertility came from a fatal disease, and her death was inevitable. She hid this very carefully, until it was visibly clear that she was unwell. By then, nothing could be done to save her, and she died with Moses by her side, halfway through the night…
These recent events were what shook the soldier at his core, and the many months that followed had him pining for death. Despite only being 28 years of age, he looked and acted far older. When there was a need for a new set of Bloodfiends, he answered the call, selfishly using it as a way to commit suicide without fully adhering to it.
Currently, as a Bloodfiend, many things have changed for him, and he’s realized that what he thought he knew was much different than the reality. But now that his eternal service is dedicated to General Lee, he’s decided to put many things behind him and try again. Now, he’s been chosen to lead the Storm Army as the Training Captain, his unyielding service and loyalty to Northaven being a few of the necessary qualities for the role.

As Moses-Joel had also succumbed to death before transitioning to this place, him being alive, much less being in a new and undiscovered land, brings a lot of questions to his mind.

The Vale Corp. Reveal:
Moses-Joel Perfetti was a military veteran serving in the US Marine Corp., his career beginning at the ripe age of 20. By then, he had married his childhood friend Enya Semir and stationed with his best friend Jarvis Striderman overseas. From there, they did several tours, including ones down into the Indian Ocean. On their third tour, Jarvis lost his life in a non-military shooting and Moses suffered serious injuries. He was not able to finish his tour and was packed to be sent home.
When he returned, the rest of his life fell apart from there. He suffered serious PTSD and survivor's guilt. It lead into him developing a form of mania, which caused him to attack his wife and lose their first child. After that incident, she left him, deeming him unfit to be a husband and a possible father. He became homeless, had no chance at finding a job and was believed to die on the streets like many other military veterans.
That was, until Vale Corp. picked him up...
