The first attribute you'll notice about Harper is his perfect, crinkled smile and warm blue eyes. He has an inviting, handsome face that exudes warmth and contentment at most given opportunities. Harper's skin is tanned and his hair generally a wild mess regardless of length, and of a chestnut brown hue. He is relatively tall, but as a former acrobat and assassin is well-muscled, particularly in the legs and arms. There are multiple scars all across his body in a variety of shapes and severity, and though he laughs off their existence instead of explaining, Harper does nothing to intentionally hide them.
Playful | Witty | Flirtatious | Chivalrous | PTSD | Protector

In spite of all the darkness of his past, Harper is a happy man. He relishes in simple jokes and puns, and doesn't mind being the butt of them either. After staring into the darkness of the human soul and escaping from its clutches, he cherishes all forms and iterations of joy and seeks out friends and family wherever he goes. Though he has a sharply honed analytical mind and is far from dumb, he is happy to be the airhead of the room. He is like a constantly-moving sun, dragging everyone else along for the ride and doing his best to brighten the world as he moves through it.

Quite charming and playful, he used to be known as a bit of a playboy, but Harper is deeply devoted to whoever catches his heart and would never play around without their consent - if anyone even manages to catch his eye from there on. Though he will happily flirt with anybody that crosses his path, it's mostly harmless, and Harper takes great joy in giving compliments that may brighten someone's day.

Beneath the sunny exterior is the remains of the assassin he used to be. Harper is very protective of the weak and the innocent, and here is revealed his spine of steel and deadly intent. There are many PTSD triggers that can send him into a spiral of blinded rage, and he fears these, terrified to go too far and hurt or kill someone unintentionally as he has in the past. He tries to be upfront about these triggers, but he also refuses to talk about his past and how they were formed in the first place, which can make evasion of them difficult.

Young Acrobat | Assassin | Vigilante

Harper was born to a pair of trapeze artists in a well-known traveling circus. What he didn't know was that it was also a front for an operation meant to groom and employ young assassins. His parents let him live a relatively normal life despite growing up an acrobat with little formal education, but over the years they began to dodge the recruitment efforts of their superiors, not wanting to give up the child they loved. Growing frustrated by their insubordination the leader ordered their deaths, and Harper watched as they died in the middle of a routine during a popular show, their tools and wires sabotaged. He is shortly recruited into the arms of the assassins, but he is resistant to their conditioning for as long as his body can hold out, suffering deeply at the hands of his mentors as he was forced to learn how to kill effortlessly and carelessly.

Harper began to bide his time, putting on an act of growing compliance until he became strong enough to break free of the organization. When he was free, he immediately ran as far as he could manage, ending up in a large city full of other ragtag individuals trying to get by. He began to build his life back up, using his skills beneath an alias to try and clean up the streets. Where he came from there was no such thing as magic or gods, no more than the standard created faiths, but Harper was determined to help the city that had welcomed him into its blackened arms. He is soon taken in by another vigilante, who becomes a motherly figure to him as she takes him beneath her wing. In this way he begins to heal, and though he does not like to hurt people, he finds it's worth the safety and protection that it awards other people. In these years he becomes the bubbly, lovely man that he strives to always be.

He ends up in Caido entirely by accident. One moment he is mid-brawl, still cloaked in his vigilante suit, and the next the world is topsy-turvy and he's thrown into a totally different season, an entirely different world.

Harper goes by either his first or last name, and responds to both equally.
