Appearance
Shoulder-length red hair, tan skin, hazel eyes. Lots of freckles and a couple beauty spots. Flat-chested. Dresses in flowing clothes, preferring light colors, especially gold/yellow.
Personality
Before arriving in Caido, Arialla was a bright, joyful young woman, though one with a bit of a temper. She preferred the outdoors to indoor pursuits and gloried in sunshine, fresh air, and exercise. You'd often find her crafting flower crowns or feeding stray animals.

Her unwilling transition to Caido has left Arialla a little more solemn, a little less free-spirited. Still, she's a thoughtful, kind person; as a priestess of a healer god, she worked to care for and counsel others, and she's seized on those altruistic principles as her lifeline in Caido. She may still feel a little lost, but she's always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

She is very devout, but has a slightly cynical view of divinity: she views the gods as beyond human morality and concerns, as great forces that one must respect and pay tribute to -- but not as people that one might hold accountable for their actions or befriend.

History

Pre-Caido

A fisherman's daughter turned priestess, Arialla showed so much devotion to the god Apollo in her home world -- a place similar to our Ancient Greece, but with a little more magic and mystery -- that he blessed her personally. She loved life, loved her family, loved the little town she lived in -- and then all of that was ripped away from her by her arrival in Caido. She blames the Voice for what she refers to as her "kidnapping," and spent the first few seasons of her time in Caido seeking a way home at any cost, struggling to accept this as her new home.

As she found her footing in Caido, Arialla turned to the gods for guidance -- specifically towards Safrin, whose domains of beauty and starlight felt the most similar to her own Apollo's. On their second meeting, Arialla swore to serve Safrin, and in return Safrin transformed her into an Attuned, allowing her to shift into the form of a golden eagle ( wings and waters).
