Of a slender built and average height, Seren is unmarked by time. There are no scars on her knees, no lines across fingers cut or unevenness of cheek from teenage plights like acne. She was made to be who she is now, and thus she stands exactly how her maker envisioned. For now.

With the naivety of a child, she is a confusing blend of open cheerfulness and mature awareness. Blushing one moment, cool and practical the next, she is still forming, shifting, molding into perfection. Or rather, her version of it; for she is flawed. Air-headed as she is determined, flighty and loyal, erratic and hasty and always warm, and kind, and unpredictable as the weather in spring.

At 5.....

She is generous, kind, considerate and entirely trusting. Adventurous, eager to learn, and possessing a patience and focus that is rare in a child that young. Fearing nothing, with no real sense of danger, her innocense is absolute, and her only prejudice consists of Ascended being bad, since her mother told her that The Voice is bad, and they are her children.

At 9......

She grew up a little, and kept charging ahead, laughing and interested in everything that occurred around her. The world remained full of sunshine and happiness, even after a volcano had rumbled to her of fear and the inevitability of change.

At 13...

Complications arose, and the world no longer appeared quite so simple. Safrin took her back to the stars to spare the child the dangers of plague and turmoil, and among the stars she roamed. Time did not matter, and so she took her time to grow, and to learn, and become herself.

Now at 19, she has returned to learn what it is to live.
