Appearance
Short brown hair, grey eyes, tan skin. Average height and build, a little on the skinny side. A few freckles. Scruffy; usually wearing half a beard and slightly shabby clothes. He keeps himself clean but not neat. Smiles easily. A perceptive individual might notice that those smiles don't always reach his eyes.
Personality
A laid-back, cheerful fellow who spends most of his time bumming around Haulani with a lute and a smile. He always has a good song to hand and, if you're lucky, might even pull a fun magic trick or two -- whether using his actual Abandoned abilities or simple sleight of hand.

Pay close attention to Theo, however, and you might notice that small, valuable items tend to go missing when he's around. Alibis come readily to his tongue, but they don't quite add up -- although he always has an explanation as to why. And he's always got a scheme in mind, some way to get rich quick -- but if they were any good, you'd think he'd be resting on his laurels by now, not scheming again.

History
Few people would guess that Theo is a man of secrets -- which is a testament to his ability to keep those secrets.

People who penetrate past his first, shallow level of secrecy will learn that he's actually a Launceleyn -- "you know, one of those Launceleyns" -- sent to Torchline on an intelligence mission, one that he cannot possibly divulge, only ominously hint at.

But his real secret, the one he won't tell anyone as long as there's the slightest chance of him talking his way out of things with his cover intact, is that he's no Launceleyn at all, just a Halovian thief and con man who happened to use the name to get out of a sticky situation once and found it a convenient lie. After a life of slim pickings and close scrapes in Halo's harsh social environment, he jumped on the opportunity the portals offered, moving first to the Hollowed Grounds and then to the more hospitable Torchline.

The Launceleyn ruse has worked well so far, and he's grown attached to it. He could almost convince you that he believes it himself.
