Motivated by many things, but most of all her family - loyal to a fault, but also cunning, wicked, and manipulative. Mabel would likely do anything necessary to survive.
History
A bleak outlook - their family's farm slowly eroded over time within the Bubble, losing all of their livestock and resources. Their mother and father, and their smaller siblings, all perished from starvation. But determined, scrappy Mabel and Evelyn decided the only way they'd survive, and not lose one another, was to Ascend.
