Appearance
A tall-ish, lanky girl, it often times looks like Amaya is all skin and bones. She has a very high metabolism, so she does not gain very much weight, much of her existing weight being in hidden muscle. Her hair is curly and falls just over her shoulders, and has a tendency to either be too frizzy or too oily, so she treasures the moments that it actually looks good. Her hair is a dark chestnut color, and hosts a reddish sheen to it in direct lighting. She has small, narrow brown eyes that rest just above a pointed nose, and an angular facial structure that rounds out at the cheeks, making her face look slightly chubby.
Personality
Amaya is a pacifist at heart, preferring to talk rather than fight. And she can really talk, too. It isn't unlikely for one to zone out and Amaya would not even notice, droning on and on, without truly knowing what she was talking about. She simply enjoys the company of others, sticking by their side and speaking everything that was on her mind. It would be a bit of an understatement to call Amaya clingy, but she hates being alone. No, not hate, she fears it. The thought of having nobody around but herself terrifies her. But at the same time, that what makes her a good friend. She will do anything she can to keep you, without all the manipulation.
Amaya has a deep love of all life big and small, and absolutely loves immersing herself in nature. A walk in the woods with a friend and falling asleep to the sound of crickets is a good day in her eyes. People with a similar love of nature are who she tends to enjoy spending time with the most.
History
Amaya was born to two Accepted, Lila and Phineas, in the Hollowed Grounds. She is the oldest sibling, having a younger sister who was born 10 years after her named Raisha. Amaya always enjoyed spending time with her baby sister, basking in the idea of being needed. But, of course, all kids grow up, and eventually Amaya wasn't needed. In fact, she wasn't even wanted. She had grown old enough to move out, and her parents were tired of taking care of an adult baby. So she had to move on.
Amaya never left the Hollowed Grounds, simply grew self sufficient. Kind of. Currently, she is living in a girl named Julika's house, where she works as a maid in return for a roof over her head and food in her stomach. Julika is rarely home, so Amaya spends time with Julika's dog Dingo, an Australian Shepherd, in her free time.
