Character Information
AppearanceNeos Rivetter looks screwy in appearance. Tall and deceptively scrawny with shaggy blue hair that has since darkened to almost-black curly hair. Neon-green irises with pupils that someone could mistake for a severely-dark-green. The tips of his fingers look to have slits underneath his fingernails for what could only be openings for retractable claws. And that's before the clothes he often wears...or at least, that's what he'd normally look like. Yellow dress shoes. Black socks. Purple dress pants. Dark-grey turtleneck sweater worn underneath a yellow suit-jacket with purple at the edges of the sleeves and collar. A glowing blue uncut crystal hanging from a simple golden chain, an item many would mistake for being magical but honestly isn't. A wide-brimmed yellow hat with a orange band where the brim meets the rest of it. He stands out because of his Outlander attire...and admittedly refuses to change to anything else unless absolutely required to. While in colder locations, he had adopted a version of his outfit that seemed to blend in better, a full-black suit attire with the same turtleneck sweater and necklace being part of it. PersonalityAnimal in soul. Valiant defender. Wildcard. These have been titles given to him by friends and enemies alike through his travels through what he has come to now call the Omniverse. With each world he finds himself in, he knows the best way to learn about each place is to take foot and start walking over the surface of such a plane of existence. He does his best to be friendly, trying to pickup whatever languages and information he can as he travels to better survive and thrive. He does his best to treat people how he wants to be treated, though if he gets livid...welp, it depends on how ticked you make him if you end up getting a fist or a claw to the face. He used to be able to use various forms of magic, especially healing magic, and be more free with his shapeshifting before arriving here. Now, the unusual restrictions have started to irk him more than once as he begins to wonder just what all he has lost upon his arrival here. HistoryThis is far from the first time the shapeshifter's found himself in a realm other than his own natural home. At the same time, due to his nature as a shapeshifter, this is also far from the first time the natural laws of a plane he's in have imposed themselves upon him to cause him to be forced to fit in better than most that are outsiders to a realm. The plane he started on was an earth-like world where humans having supernatural power was uncommon, but not impossible. Instead, it was the wildlife of the world that had a variety of powers, ranging from control over one or two elements to specific gimmicks unique to specific species of creatures, like his own kind with overall shapeshifting. He had resided in a huge living-crystalline tree structure alongside many such varied beings, led by a pink floating cat-like creature with an extremely-long tail that he can now only refer to as 'Mistress', despite that not being part of her full name. He had developed a curiosity about the nearby gathering of bipedal creatures that lived within walls of stone, humans, and would sometimes take his Mistress' form to fly invisibly to the gathering to learn more about them. Then, his home started to fall apart for reasons he still never figured out, even two decades later, which was saved by a pair of human with unusual power and a bipedal jackal with similar power using the strange energy to heal and stabilize his life-long home. Amazed by the strange human, the shapeshifter began to travel a few months afterwards to learn about the world at large. There was a point where he, however, was captured by a human hunter whom had unusual goggles able to see past his human appearance to see what he really was. He was soon after sold to a cruel group that he was honestly glad he forgot the name of upon landing in this newest plane. In this group's hands, who saw him as nothing more than as a tool to be used and exploited, he was tortured in ways probably not wise to go into detail on, leaving him scarred, beaten and unstable in the head for a bit...to the point that he developed a second personality that went on a rampage after he was finally freed, killing many humans and creatures alike. He exiled himself after he came back to himself, horrified by all he had done, took to wondering his home at random. He eventually found a tear in his world, one that looked like it led to someplace he couldn't see the otherside of...and took a leap of faith, finding himself in a city that stretched over the entire world literally. And that was just the first of many planes, as he came to know them from one of the people he befriended in such a strange city, he would find himself winding up travelling, always one-way, from one to another. While never truly seeking to return home, each plane he's found himself in presents itself with new stories waiting to be discovered and people to tell his own stories to of seemingly-fanciful worlds. Many would find his tales hard to believe, but he knew better. After all, he lived them. OtherCombat Theme Song: Jonathan Young Original - "The Land of Broken Dreams" (feat. He does have an alternate personality he refers to as Gemini, and Gemini is a bonafide agent of chaos when in control. If you see red text, it's Gemini, not Neos, that's talking or thinking. This does cause Neos now to display traits that a stable person wouldn't display, like sometimes talking to one's self as if he was actually talking to someone else or visibly react to someone unseen. He tries not to do this around others, but I the player expect him to fuck up at some point. A rough estimate of this character's damage potential is as follows:
