Appearance
Tapered and beautiful, Ellyra is fashioned by the perfect combination of her parents. She has the bright, blonde hair of her father as well as his hazel eyes. The softness in her features comes from her mother, but the way they can turn to stone has been crafted by the woman over her lifetime. She is evenly proportioned, and lean from travel. She moves with purpose and poise, though she lacks true refinement.

Ellyra is plain when it comes to her clothing as of late. Since the barrier fell around the Hollowed Grounds, the woman has been travelling through as much of the world as she can get. Because of this, she wears simple and functional clothing. Given all of her travels, one would assume that she would look disheveled more often than she looks put together. This, however, is untrue. The woman cares about how she is presented to the world and takes a point of pride in her beauty and keeping as tidy as she can.

Personality
Ellyra is an entity all to herself. Independent and headstrong from the day she broke forth into the world, this woman hates to be held back. She desires to feel content in her world, and she has yet to find it. The woman continues to travel the world in search of filling the spaces within her soul and heart. She is not sure yet what will fill it, and therefor she continues to pursue something.

With her headstrong and independent nature, Ellyra has a tendency to be rather impatient and blunt. She thinks quickly and thinks out loud most of the time. She is not unfamiliar with having to apologize for her mouth. While she has a good heart, her handle on her tongue is still to be under total control. Despite this, the woman is naturally charismatic and is drawn to people. Being along for too long makes her feel drained and anxious, so she often seeks out the company of others. She is afraid, though, of giving too much of herself to someone else and because of that her life lacks any relationships of depth.

In times of danger and stress, Ellyra has an ability to keep a level-headedness about her that can only be produced through enduring the torture of monsters every year for her entire life.

History
Being born in the Hollowed Grounds behind a barrier to two people just trying to survive made for a rather uneventful life for the girl. Her father was a blacksmith and worked to provide for whatever the Grounds needed. Her mother tried to best to tend to the earth and grow herbs and plants that would be beneficial to the people, but it was often hard and fruitless work.

When the barrier came down, Ellyra finally had a chance to pursue what she desired. She left without a second thought, but keeps in touch with her parents often through letters and care packages.

Leaving the Hollowed Grounds was probably the best thing Ellyra had ever done for herself. In the Second War, her parents perished beneath the fires of the Sparkbird. Unable to bring herself to taking shelter in the Wrenzoak Refuge, and knowing she was not a strong warrior, Ellyra decided to help. She helped in the clinics of Stormbreak and found herself a love there for mending the broken.
