Appearance
"Salt" is a large, powerful-looking woman. She has white hair that she usually keeps cropped short, although it can grow out after a long assignment. She wields a longsword and is able to use a bow, although she is more skilled at melee combat than ranged combat. She usually wears studded leather armor in dark shades to help her blend in the wilds.
Personality
She is cynical and cold, but doesn't like that she is cynical and cold. She often encourages others to "not end up like her." Privately, she believes that she has taken on the harder edges of life so that others don't have to live quite so uncomfortably.
History
She grew up in a family of tailors in Stormbreak, but she could always be found playing with wooden swords in the back of their poor ramshackle home in her limited free time. She reluctantly followed in her family's craft to help them make ends meet, and used any of her extra earnings to gradually buy herself pieces of armor and weaponry that she kept hidden by a local city drain. but as soon as she came of age, instead of responding to a local young man's attempt to court and marry her eventually, she nearly immediately gathered up her things, and hopped on a wagon bound for Haulani, offering her services as a sword for hire. She never had any formal training in the blade, so hers was a "fake it until you make it" situation. She bears many scars on her face due to encounters where she had to learn combat the hard way. She eventually outpaced and outranked many of the other mercenaries in her original group, and now works as a freelancer for individuals seeking guidance and protection between Stormbreak and Haulani--always for a price.
Other
Her family is currently deceased--there was an accident in the slums where they lived a few years after she left. Her family's little house caved in due to over-stacking of the buildings above them.
