Appearance
The sturdy man staring at you, with those misty grey eyes and bushy beard trying to cover up the slight smile, was Ox.
And apart from the serene look in his eyes and a calm gentleness emanating from him, there wasn't really anything out of the ordinary about him. Especially considering he literally came from a place which was definitely out of the ordinary, compared to the world he somehow found himself in.
Then there were the clothes on his back. Which were, simply put, plain. Even in this new world. A dull white t-shirt, an equally boring pair of blue jeans, a pair of sneakers and that was that. The only noteworthy choice of wear he had on him were a set of colorful necklaces he had purchased on the handful of trips he had been on in his past life. None of them had any real sentimental value, let alone magic powers. They were simply decorations, of the cheap-tourist-shop kind.
And so he set forth in this strange land, making a mental note to buy a new necklace to add to his collection.
Personality
Describing Ox's personality in a couple of words almost always boils down to the same select few. Al though depending on who is asked, they vary in nature. Shedding all tassels and bells, the recurring ones indicate Ox is quite an easy-going person. Some would say he's overly trusting or forgiving, naive, dumb, a push-over. Whilst others would say he's jovial, kind, etc. No matter what reason behind the choice of words, it boils down to someone who is easy to get along with.
Granted, that was who Ox was in his previous life. Now that he had been given a second chance in a completely environment, there's no telling if -and how- he's going to change himself. Unfortunately he doesn't remember all that much from his former life, so he is quite prone to making the same mistakes in the process. Apart from some grey fragments and snippets that come to mind whenever he tries to recollect who he was, everything is a foggy haze. Fortunately he's not that hung up about his memory loss. One of the perks of being easy-going after all...
History
As Ox had only recently woken up in this strange place, there isn't all that much to be said. As much as he racked his brain, staring around the barren, desolate area around the construct before him, which he will later learn to be the Spire. He had no clue what went on, was going on, let alone what was going to happen. All he remembered was a view. A panoramic, gorgeous view. Vibrant, lush foliage all around him and a sun setting over a distant lake, reflecting on the still waters, before everything went dark.
Now he's here, alone and helpless. Yet, somehow, strangely at peace.
