Melita skipping down the market-square was a frequent occurrence – crimson locks bobbing up and down as she frolicked between kiosks and stalls with her usual fervor and flare. A vampire gourd at her feet. A dragon flickering overhead. Combinations of potency and foolishness all in one feral swing of her staff.
But what wasn’t a recurring stature was the notions of Talyson nearby. The Honeybee was grateful, in that particular happenstance, because then she didn’t have to see him too often.
So when she spotted him near the fountain, she grimaced, abruptly turned on her heel, and began making her way back to where she should’ve turned (hoping he hadn’t seen her at all).
