I have no idea. If it was terribly expensive though, you’d think they would’ve come back for it. Or noticed, at the very least, that the golden piece was missing from their mouth. Shaking her head, trying not to find amusement in someone else’s misfortune, the bird flew upwards and out of the box – if the person intended to return, the tooth would remain in the crate for them. She certainly had no intention of taking it.
Glancing out the tunnel, and seeing where the sun was sitting, the Caretaker had to begrudgingly admit it was time to be heading out. I should be going home.
