Everest was not how Liam remembered, although to be fair, he wouldn't say he knew the man particularly well. Still, from what he recalled, Everest had always been a bit... different. Awkward. Uncertain, perhaps. This man was still observant and collected, but in a more refined way. Liam noticed all of this and then moved on. People changed over time, and it was none of his business anyway.
