Ludo "Melllllllita!" Ludo trills, peeking out from around the statue of the shrine with little black-tipped fingers and a mischievous grin. As always since her ascent to demigodhood, the raggedy herald takes the form of an equally raggedy youth, dark hair plastered to its face, dark eyes wide and hungry as it gazes down at the plethora of trinkets brought for it. "You always bring the best presents," it announces, sitting itself down amid its treasures to eat some fudge and play with the magnet tiles. The duck, of course, is surreptitiously squirrelled away in its rags, as if this is what it counts as an actual offering. "Things are good. People die a lot," it says with a shrug.
