The Loreseekers’s Guild was one with an ever-shifting roster; members disappearing, some returning, and new ones joining as the seasons passed. In its early days its members had all had their own places to call home, either Naturals with family houses or Outlanders who had found places that they had fixed up and moved into. Recently, however, the latest influx of Seekers had all had somewhat different and unique circumstances. There had been no easy place to put them, and so most of them had ended up in the VlamVloed in one way or another. He was grateful to Sunjata for boarding them, but he felt that the Guild should take care of its own, and that meant taking action to make a haven for them.

Here, in the Atheneum, among the books and near the Guildhall, for instance.

A notice had been posted and spread by word of mouth, inviting the Loreseekers, allies, and friends to come help clean out and furnish some reading rooms and convert them to small but cozy living quarters for Guildmembers who didn’t have their own homes in the Settlement. Now Jigano waited near the door as people arrived.

As the volunteers came the bard smiled and greeted each. Once everyone was assembled he gave a slight bow and led the way up one of the staircases near the back of the building to the second floor, that broad platform that ringed the inside of the domed main library and allowed for further shelves and books above. As there were rooms below, tucked in amongst the stone walls, hiding spaces that had once held special collections or other dangers that were still being explored, so there were rooms above them as well.

”Thank you all for coming. I’m Jigano, Provost of the Loreseekers’s Guild, and we appreciate your help today. I’ve collected some furniture from donations and from the Ruins to get the places looking a little homier, but first there are quite a lot of books and shelves to move out of these rooms to make space for people to live there until they have a chance to find their own homes in the Domiciles.” He smiled apologetically over his shoulder as he led the way to their destination:  six doors close together, leading to five smaller rooms and one larger one. ”I’ve only poked my head into them briefly to make sure they were the right sizes, so we might find other problems to fix along the way. We’ll deal with them as they come, though. For now, pick a room and we’ll see what we have to work with.”

Please introduce yourselves and choose a room numbered 1 through 6, then wait for a description. Rooms 1 through 5 are smaller, room 6 is roughly twice the size of the others.

This PQ will update roughly every 3-4 days, or when everyone has posted.
