I’m writing to ask about a trade. I’m in need of a pair of horses, and thought I'd see if you have any you're willing to part with. In return, I can see to work around your ranch. Repairs, building, whatever you might have on the list.
If you’d be open to it, seeing as I live in Halo, I’d appreciate if I could board the horses on your ranch. We could make it a standing exchange. I keep your place in good repair, you keep the horses fed and stabled.
