Having only been considering his time lazing on the sand in the heat, it brings Danta a surprising amount of delight to hear that Asta not only wants to join him in Torchline, but he has his own plans for a good time as well. (If reading under a parasol can be considered a good time, which for a man who does minimal reading, it does not). Still, with their break from the world beginning to form in his mind, and without actually having to go anywhere until tomorrow, gods it already feels like a vacation.

"We can stay here as long as you want," he tells him easily, smiling and shifting to get more comfortable before closing his eyes once more. "But if I fall asleep, we can't move until I wake up again." It's a rule that Danta has only recently made up, it's true, but given that he's the Theocrat, he can implement it whenever he likes in his opinion.

Which is lucky, because he really is asleep again within another few minutes.
