Once upon a time, Loren’s family had been his whole life as well. However, never in a million years would he be able to imagine such pure and unconditional love from either of his parents. Of course, his mother had died when he was quite young, and his father had not proven to be capable of raising any of his children. The summoner’s stepmother had tried her best, but she too had died. And that wasn’t even getting into his family's whole ‘torturing their children into obedience’ thing. ”They’re lucky to have you.”
