Peter had, historically, never done well in places he wasn’t allowed to leave. But, he also hadn’t been around for the previous Longnight, and trusted that an entire group of people had somewhat of an idea of what they were doing. Hopefully. The herd mentality didn’t keep him in good spirits when the doors closed though, anxiety growing in his throat like a cancerous lump.

His only source of relief was Adam, and Peter stuck close to the other man, hovering around him quietly wherever he chose to spend his time. Adam was the only reason Peter had chosen to come here anyway, as far as he was concerned the temple and the guild were interchangeable.

The monster hunters guild had been a temporary home for the days building up to Longnight, so it only made sense to stay put where he was. And, even if Sam was leaving, going outside into the dark, dangerous night, a decision that Nate did not at all agree with, this was where he was for the interim.

The only real con was the lack of substances he could abuse, but he’d caught sight of Adam, and hoped he could bum something off the other man. Just to get through the worst of the week. People watching would suffice for the moment, there were enough people he’d never met before to keep his focus away from anything.
