Harper is almost entranced by her dedication, throwing harder moves at her and being endlessly delighted as she tackles them one after another. Fearless and determined, even when he can see her sizing up the next move, not exactly intimidated but aware of her own inexperience. Yet she throws herself from the precipice regardless, and Harper has seen many fears of wonder and physical fitness in his years with the circus, but finds that his breath locks in his throat with anticipation to see her so fearlessly throw herself off the ledge in a captivating display that shouldn't effect him so much.

There is nothing for her to fear as she begins to lose her balance, Harper ready and waiting just as he'd promised as she uses her hand to springboard over the wall. The promise is there even if the experience is not, and he is well and truly impressed. She is rather light as he braces his arms to catch her, knees bending with the residual momentum to keep her safely cradled. Squeezing her with a resounding, joyous laugh and spinning them both around to expel the feelings buzzing in his chest. "You were amazing!" Only then gently letting her down, making sure she's steady before backing away to give her space. Grin bright and impressed. "That was very brave, how did it feel?"

Fearless is the wrong word. No one is fearless. To be brave is not to be fearless. Rather, it is to be willing to face that fear and overcome it. There is something terrifying about leaping from one building to the next, particularly as he expects her to land on the small ledge. But there’s also something exhilarating about it. It’s that adrenaline rush, the flooding feeling that comes with success (even messy success). It is realizing you can do it despite your fear.

Harper catches her easily, cradling in her arms and then spinning her around. She can’t help the laugh that escapes her, light and pleased and enjoying herself. ”Amazing might be an overstatement,” she says with a chuckle as he sets her down. She takes a moment to straighten her shirt, tugging the bottom back down. ”Terrifying, but absolutely thrilling at the same time,” she admits with a bright grin, her cheeks flushed from the exertion.

Her laughter is effusive and bubbly, and Harper grins down at her as he sets her back on her feet. Safe and solid on the floor beneath them. "I'm not known for my dramatics," he parries back, aware that he absolutely is. There's no harm in showering her with praise, undue or otherwise. If it keeps her smiling, Harper isn't going to take it back.

Weaver's flushed cheeks and eager response makes him laugh brightly, turning and gesturing to the rest of the ruins they have to explore. "Then what are we waiting for?" And again he leads on, blissfully unaware that this small bubble of joy and friendship will be the last memory he will have of Weaver.
