She removes herself from his lap, pulling her shirt back on over her head and he gets up. ”I am a tease,” she admits. ”You can add that to my list of terrible qualities.” She was absolutely a shameless tease, at that. It was hard to resist, sometimes, but she didn’t always want to give away the farm and she wasn’t afraid to say no.
”Walk a girl back to town?” she asks, standing up to join him and helping collect the fishing supplies, if he needs any help. They could at least walk together, and she imagined she’d see him again.
