Hester
Tight hold on that hope
The personal praise from Morgan warmed Hester's heart and cheeks both, her grin nearly impossible to contain as she looked up at the Warden. "I proud to help, however I can." Hester answered easily, earnestly. It felt nice, being a part of the community like this, being a part of the rising of Halo.

Following Morgan back to the centre of the room, she listened to the last few tasks that needed doing, a smile still spread across her face. The musician knew which task she'd prefer, but also which task she was most suited for. Two of their group were outlanders, and well, if she could take the more interesting task, then she would.

Chairs and tables are tugged into place, Hester aiming to arrange them in a way that could be used for several small meeting, or one large one, without needing too much shifting. The largest table, at what would be the head of the room was arranged with extra care, neatly scrawled name tags designating specific seats for specific cabinet members (and if Morgan's tag was a touch more elaborate than the others, well, she could hardly be blamed for favouritism). It wasn't particularly fun work work, but it was important, and like everything else today, Hester wanted to do a good job.

Hester arranges the tables and chairs, and labels the council seats.

MORGAN
Slowly, it began to take form, the place she had imagined. Morgan was sure that with time and people coming and going throughout the building, both pleasant events and tense ones, it would grow with the times, change and form in ways she could not yet predict, but for the moment it was filled with hope.

"Thank you all." She said to the group, once they had helped, everyone chipping together making the place special. "I hope you all know this is a place open to all of you, whenever you need the assistance of your leadership. I hope that this hall will mark a new age of togetherness for our people." With that said she went further inside to continue setting up, preparing for future meetings.

CHULANE

It all came together quite neatly. Chuy was all smiles, pleased to be a part of it, even if he still wondered at his place in all of it. He finished up the sweeping, ensuring that when the furniture came through it was unimpeded by dirt and dust and even bits of snow that inevitably tracked in. He smiled to himself, thinking the simple task of sweeping much like the ningo farm - the first clean, the initial establishment of the space was one thing, but as the hall was used, and more dirt was tracked in, it would take ongoing maintenance.

And that was a good thing, because it meant it was being used, that its purpose for being built in the first place was being met, again and again and again. "Great work," he said to Hester and Beatrix with a warm grin, admiring both girl's aptitudes for decorating - he was ever pragmatic, with little ability for style or decoration himself, always too focussed on the functionality of a place rather than the aesthetic. Still, it didn't mean he couldn't appreciate the aesthetic when it was presented to him.

"Might catch you at the Kraai later?" He said to the group in general, before giving a nod and small wave and heading off down the street.

you know nothing
