CHASING THE SUN
They could just stare there. Staring up at the stars, and whatever futures of memories they wanted to tell them. Just having her there helped Anden put things together. Even if it was in the silence. He knew he wanted to leave the Grounds like Aisha. But he wasn't sure where he would go. He had a home here, and a make shift family. He wasn't sure if the other areas of Caido could provide him with those things. Anden was shocked that Aisha wanted to know more about the stars, and the constellation. She was never the sentimental type. He got up from his feet, and playfully grabbed her arm. He first traced out the Evergreen Tree, and then the bird flying away from it. Finally he traced the Petal flowing freely. "They used to follow the petals for days. That's how they knew they were on the right track to the Forest. That's how they knew they would find us, and be free."
Feeling confident that Aisha could find the stars on her own now, he let go of her hand. Kicking dirt over the fire, erasing the light, he offered her his hand. "Maybe we should get back now? I don't want Dani to worry about us." Dani would of course worry, she always did when Anden went out exploring.
