full moon rising on the waters of my soul
Amun nodded at Aisha's instruction. "Me? Nah. I'm pretty, and you can't be pretty and smart. The universe wouldn't allow it." He waggled his eyebrows at her, grinning all the while.

However, it didn't stop him from getting straight to work: kneeling by the wheelbarrow, he laid his hand on each wheel, strengthening it with his upgrade and making sure none of them were out of alignment. Satisfied, he stood up and began shoveling snow into it. Once it was full, he'd grasp the handles.

Grunting, he'd begin to trundle outside the training grounds. Dumping a load, he'd repeat the process as many times as needed.

Amun strengthens the wheelbarrow with his metal manipulation upgrade, then begins to shovel snow into it. He'd dump the snow outside until the grounds were clear.

The world is new to you, and you to it. During PQ/PQ+/KQs/Drops, you roll with advantage on luck-based rolls and receive an extra name during drops. (In order to use this, make sure to note the ability at the bottom of each post)

Permitted their round of laughter, the beast shook his head thereafter, wandering towards the hole in the wall. It was a nuisance to be certain, allowing for the snow to amplify and accumulate in one area, where it really shouldn’t have been at all. Stepping around the pile, as he figured Aisha and Amun would be getting to it eventually, he crouched down before the aperture, studying and examining. It wasn’t nearly as bad as the one he’d already replaced, and so he unfolded incantations, waiting for the lumber, the timber, to compile once more, meeting one another in an act of creation and earth adornments. They aligned well, sufficiently, and he strengthened the beams as they maneuvered onward, unfurling might and mettle into the structure.

Perhaps it was a fortunate thing for Aisha that Amun had joined her; his repairs worked well, honing in on the wheelbarrows weaknesses, repairing whatever damage had been done to the tool.

Aisha, because luck had not been on her side nearly at all today, continued with a frustrating torrent of issues; this one namely a shovel breaking, snapping completely in half. Luckily there were more available, and with the Ascended picking up where she left off, they’d begun to make headway on the pile of snow.

Aight, next round should be the last one (considering dice rolls). Take care of the rest of the snow and we should be good to go!

Amun grinned at Aisha. "You're a fighter, not a craftsperson, apparently. That's alright. I might not be a warrior, but I can clear snow like a champion." With that, he double checked that the wagon hadn't been weakened by any of their efforts so far. Kneeling down, he laid his hands on the wheels again, once again strengthening the wagon.

Once that was done, the potter returned to shoveling snow into the waiting receptacle. Once it was full, he'd take up the arms of the wheelbarrow, grunting at the weight once more. Trudging outside the training ground, he'd dump the weight again, and as many times as necessary before the area was cleared.

Amun strengthened the wheelbarrow with his upgrade and then cleared the snow from the frounds.

what will you do when the vultures come for you, run and hide?
Amun's help got her somewhere at least, on her own she was once again shrouded in shit luck and breaking tools. She'd made little headway before staking the shovel too deep, and in trying to pull up the chunk of snow, the wooden handle thunked right out of the metal head piece. She held only a stick now, the blade of the shovel embedded in the thick sheen of snow.

She stared at it for a moment, wondering who had cursed her and why, then with another even deeper sigh and snicker of laughter, she trudged over to the wall with the other shovels. She turned her head back to Amun as he began to talk, noting with a good-natured scowl the teasing grin on his face. "Don't think I can't find other uses for a shovel potter," she said as she walked back towards him and the snow, gesturing with her new shovel as though she was going to bonk him on the head with it.

She usually hated being taunted and teased, but today she maybe deserved it. And there was no reason they couldn't enjoy it, so that's what she did, once again trying to shovel the snow into the freshly fixed up wheelbarrow for Amun to cart out.

Aisha gets a new shovel and tries to shovel snow again lmaoooo

He’d only just finished in time to witness Aisha’s shovel break, cementing one more round of quiet, muffled laughter from his corner of the grounds, before shaking his head, rising from his crouch, and coming to aid. Together, perhaps for the grand finale, they maneuvered snow to the outer ridges and range of the elongated earth, either by wheelbarrow or shovel. Nothing broke. Nothing hastened into wild, wicked contortions. No one fell into a suddenly manifested hole. Teamwork comprised and composed the efforts into quick, efficient applications, and before long, the drift had been re-piled and rehomed (which he’d utilize for a future training exercise).

Then, they’d have a chance to step back, and survey the result of all their hard work. “Well done,” and he boisterously clapped both of them on the shoulders. “Thank you for your efforts.” It would be much improved for all of Halo – with sorted weaponry, with a front room designated for war plans, defenses, assaults, sieges, and whatever else would compose its way into machinations, and newly arranged targets along the training designations. All in all, a fine way to spend the day – knowing it would hone in on refinements, enhancements, and developments for anyone in Halo yearning and learning to wield.

With that, they’d be allowed to settle in for refreshments in the front room, to grab a weapon of their choosing, practice their trade, and leave with satisfaction in their souls.

Thank you everyone! <3 We’re done!
