Bake-kujira
Tropical Islands?
A large, ghostly, skeletal whale, usually accompanied by strange birds and fish (perhaps they are dead too?). Locals say the Bake-kujira brings a curse and misfortune to the area it's spotted within.
GREAT MINDS. USED.

Ceffyl Dŵr
Tropical Islands? Rocky Cliffs? WATER.
Ceffyl Dŵr A water horse, said to mostly inhabit mountain pools and waterfalls. Even if it appears corporeal, it can evaporate into mist and fog. Some legends suggest it entices unwary travelers to ride them, and when they fly into the air, they evaporate, dropping the rider to their death.

Shangyang (Rainbird)
WHEREVER YOU WANT.
A bird capable of predicting the rain. Stories say that if one is found dancing upon one leg, that terrible downpours and storms are imminent.

Ramphira
Tropical Island or Jungle Area
These four-legged herbivores have heads shaped very similar to a toucan, except they also have a pair of ram-like horns. Only about the size of a deer, they fall prey to many other animals so they travel in small herds, often accompanied by small birds or other prey animals. They're covered in soft downy feathers in bright pinks, purples, and yellows. Their horns are usually a pale shade of green, ending in a more purple tone but this varies on the amount of sun and the general health of the Ramphira. Their horns and feathers are often used for their medical properties.
USED

Cloverling
Grassy General Plains
Cloverlings are small, barely housecat sized herbivores. Their heads are shaped like a clover, hence the name and they have small almost hand-like paws. In the center of their 'clover' is a small mouth. They have very small ridges along the inside of their mouths, kind of like teeth. The flower like appendage at the end of their tails opens during spring, letting off a pleasant scent. Because they lack eyes, they navigate by feeling vibrations with their very sensitive paws. Their skin feels a bit like velvet and comes in a variety of greens, often with pale red or purple markings.

Lurker
Rocky Cliff City?
Lurkers are small reptile-like avians with beady eyes and bald faces. They will eat just about anything they can get their little hands on. Although they have wings, they don't really fly so much as glide. Their plumage comes in a variety of colors but tends towards a gray tone that looks just a bit iridescent in the sunlight. Males grow branch-like horns, mostly used for courtship dances but they're occasionally used for territorial disputes. They don't really live in groups but seem to tolerate each other if food is available.

Feyrvin
Mountainous regions?
Feyrvin appear to be a cross between a lizard and a big cat. Sleek bodied and well muscled, these hunters are found stalking the mountain cliffs for anything they can eat. Which is anything smaller than they are. Although they boast a pair of sharp horns, they kill their prey with their sharp claws and by biting. Their mouths can open an impressive distance, allowing them to take out larger prey. They have a single large claw on each foot, allowing them to gut their prey and their rivals.

Moushroom
Grassy/Forest Areas
A small mouse that seems to have a mushroom growing out of its back. It's unknown if these are a singular organism or a case of symbiosis. Moushroom come in a variety of browns but mostly favor light brown or white. Used!

Cygnata
Swamp? Desert?
Cygnata have inspired many poets with their easy grace and beauty. These giant birds seem to swim through the air instead of fly. The crests on their heads are made of a hard almost stone-like material and are worth a lot of money, if you can get one. Few people, however, will intentionally buy Cygnata parts as they're sometimes seen as sacred animals. Used

Titan’s Lighthouse: Not an ordinary lighthouse, this one stands tall from the tops of the mountain ranges. It’s light emits a soft glow throughout the night, guiding to what some people claim to be the mountain’s heart. used

Gore Crows:
Everywhere that things die.

Twice the size of their more common brethren, gore crows boast wickedly sharp beaks and talons that could pierce even the hide of a dragon and even sharper wit to boot. Preferring human meat, their inky black feathers often glisten red with their most recent feast. Traveling in small groups, their eerie caws of words like "Eyes!" and "Meat!" can be heard echoing across battlefields or haunting a hunter's trail. These fearsome birds with gleaming red eyes are not to be trifled with, for it it is not uncommon for a gore crow to finish off injured prey.

Sea Panther

Probably the islandy place or idk wherever large bodies of water are

Sea Panthers are rare creatures of monstrous size. As one might think, they have many feline features, including a long tail, paws, fangs, and eyes with vertical pupils. But per their aquatic nature their paws are webbed and wide, everything streamlined, and without fur. Their most notable features are their horns, one on each side in front of their ears. Lore has it these were created by Mort as a gift for Ludo, and as such Sea Panthers are thought to gather the souls of sailors lost at sea. Encountering one is considered an omen of death to come or a blessing from Ludo, depending on circumstance.

Also here is a picture

The Falling

For the Cliffy place

A series of cliffs accessed by walking paths that extend over air geysers. If timed right, you can jump off and be pushed back up to the cliffside by the force of warm air coming up out of the geysers. But time it wrong and you go kersplat.

Fyrhunds (Volcanic Region)
Elemental creatures of earth and fire, fyrhunds make their nests and lay their eggs in shallow pools of lava within active volcanoes. Roughly canine in appearance, they are the size of small bears. Though their outer skin is covered in black rock-like armor plating they bleed viscous lava in place of blood. They are fierce carnivorous hunters, though only the very young eat meat. Older fyrhunds eat stone and even metal, which helps to harden their natural armor. They tend to be solitary unless raising a family, in which case they are extremely territorial and aggressive.

Obsidian Cathedral (Volcanic Region)
Where the lava tunnels converge sits a vast chamber made entirely of black glass. Formed from a massive magma bubble in past aeons, the Obsidian Cathedral holds the curious property of muting all light within it, even as its ice-smooth floors require great care to walk upon. Large rectangular blocks of black stone, carried by a river long since gone, litter the floor, vaguely resembling pews in uneven rows. In the exact center of the room sits a perfect cube of polished obsidian with a shallow basin atop it, though there is no sign of how it got there.

used both!

The Sea of Dreams (Desert)
These salt flats are pure white most of the year, creating a harsh glare that can cause temporary blindness in those trying to cross them during the daytime. The salten ground seems to suck the very moisture from the bodies of the living, creating a harsh and dangerous passage even at night. The true danger of the Sea comes when the white dust is kicked up by desert winds, which can cause mild hallucinations. However, for a brief period during Flowerbirth, a thin layer of water rests on the surface and creates a perfect mirror of the sky. used

Treeflits (Jungle)
Jewel-toned, rainbow feathered creatures the length of a human arm, treeflits are legless lizards that can extend two small pairs of feathered wings to flutter and glide between branches as they seek out their favorite foods of insects and flowers. They have bright black eyes and communicate by songs. A treeflit can harmonize with itself and can mimic a vast array of sounds from its environment. They are clever and mischievous creatures that will steal shiny objects from travelers and replace them with tasty beetles in a form of trade. It is thought that they can see through illusions.

Crystal Fields
Board, Mountain
A field hidden high the upper reaches of the mountain range. The flowers here grow as dazzling crystals, bathing the valley in sparkling lights. Despite its high altitude, the area is sheltered by the surrounding peaks, and is usually warm, even during deepfrost.

Raffleyna
Flora/Fauna, Jungle
Standing about the size of a large housecat, the raffleyna is part beast part plant. Its body is covered in coarse mossy fur, and in place of its head there’s a bright red fleshy flower that emits either a sweet scent or a rotting scent, depending on how recently it fed. They tend to keep together in small packs, and are quite skittish.

Modilu Flies
Fauna, Cliffs
A bug that looks similar to a dragonfly, with larger, more elaborate wings. They feed on emotional energy, and the colours of they wings change in accordance with the mood they’re currently sensing.
used

The Undergrove/The Warren
Board, Jungle
A hollow beneath the jungle where the dirt that once supported the trees has been washed away. The roots are strong enough to keep the twisting pathways open, and a strange subforest has grown. Thick roots sprout strange luminescent leaves and fungus thriving in this dark, damp places. There are stories of a great blind beast lurking in the furthest reaches of the tunnels, ready to snap up whatever crosses it’s path.
used

Warrenbeast
Fauna, Jungle
A pallid twisting beast hidden underneath the jungle. It’s body is well suited to its environment, with two large fore limbs, a clawed prehensile tail, and two blind bulging eyes. There is a lure inside it’s throat to attract lost creatures.

Valley of Razors
Board, Cliffs
The rock face here has been eroded into viciously sharp points, even a soft touch can shred unprotected skin. There is a labyrinthine series of paths leading through the area, but one is just as likely to run into a dead end (or worse) as they are to find a way out.

Temple Ruins:
Board, Jungle

Deep into the jungle, a lucky (or unlucky?) traveller might find themselves within the ruins of a mighty temple. It is half crumbled and in ruins, but its architecture boasts complex carving and stunning color, soaring pillars and a single staircase that leads deep down, to where untold treasures could await. No one ever knows what they might find when plunging into the maze-like levels of the temple, be it treasure or beast or terrible booby traps.

The Barrows:
Board, Grasslands

There is a grassy plateau speckled with small hills and mounds---barrows, ancient tombs for souls that are long departed, rolling into the distance. There are hundreds of them, each holding an iron door and a stone frame. Mist perpetually envelopes this place as surely as silence does. It is said that any who try to raid these tombs for treasure or those who wander too far among the barrows will never find their way out again.

Daemon:
Fauna, The Barrows (the temple ruins?) or anywhere

These are the restless spirits of companion creatures of myth: dragons, unicorns, griffins, and the like. They haunt the barrows, protecting the tombs of their bonded people, often reacting with hostility and violence against those who stray too close where their masters rest. Wounds from a daemon are deadly, poisoning the victim with the ether of the afterlife, and death will find them if they are not treated quickly.

Ether Onion
Fauna, Grasslands

In almost every way, other onions appear like perfectly normal onions. Their flavor is sweet, they're filling, but their stench is enough to discourage consuming them regularly. They will grow only where moonlight can reach them, and will glow white when the moon is full. Known for healing properties, their pulp is often used as a salve on supernaturally earned wounds. If eaten, it is said that the stink alone will ward off unfriendly spirits.

The Summit:
Board, Mountains

The tallest peak of the mountains, this summit stretches so high that one might believe they can touch the stars. It is never without snow, frigid with thin air, but the sights are breathtaking. Traversing this mountain is treacherous and rife with peril, be it creature or rockslide or even freezing to death. It can take weeks to climb it, but at its peak, it is said that one can see their fate written in the stars.

Cloud Wyrm
Fauna, Grasslands or desert

Cousins of the dragon, these small and serpentine creatures boast no wings or destructive breath. Rather, they breathe clouds. Their four-legged white bodies can be seen slithering through the air, puffy clouds streaming from their mouths to ease the intensity of the sun on the plains. They never get any bigger than a weasel, and are known as docile, playful creatures, and they seem to enjoy collecting shiny things.

Fauna
Keens. Grasslands, Woodlands, Etc.
Cat like creatures that stand at about a foot tall. Their colors are typically brown and earthy, used to allow them to camouflage into their surroundings. These creatures typically live in packs of 5-7, though have been seen in groups as large as 10. These creatures have a matriarchy system with one head female. Typically active at dawn and at dusk, they have an incredible stamina, allowing them to drive their target down to exhaustion. They typically stay away from lean or sickly targets, seeming to want a challenge or something of higher value. When you see one, more are sure to come.

Flora
Grassy forest regions.
Silver Leafs.
Orchid like flowers that have leaves with veins that seem to glow. To consume a leaf or the stalk would cause temporary paralyzation. The amount eaten determines how long this will last, but it is never permanent. The flower themselves are with hues of blue. The roots can be used to substitute an entire meal, providing for nutrients and being surprisingly filling. The flower, on the other hand, is very useless and does nothing but look pretty. The plants are incredibly difficult to cultivate due to being highly temperamental.

These natural geothermal springs can be found at the foot of the fangs. They provide one of the few respites from the region's otherwise bone-chilling temperatures, making them a magnet for tundra life. Many hunters have had luck here, but beware: more than a few of them became the hunted.

These glacier caves were formed from melting ice long ago; suffice it to say that the ice isn't melting anymore. They're known for their otherworldly beauty, but local superstition warns of restless spirits that lurk within.

Flora? Well, fungi:
Moonshrooms: Delicious mushrooms that also happen to be bio-luminescent at night. They grow in rocky tundra crevices. If you eat them, be careful: getting the juice on your shirt will make a stain that glows for a while. Oh, also, they look exactly like poison caps during the day. (common)

Poison Caps: Extremely poisonous mushrooms that grow in the tundra. One bite causes seizures. They look exactly like moonshrooms, but they lack nighttime bio-luminescence. Only the luxere seem to be able to tell the difference during the day. (common)

Godlings

totally not blatantly stolen from the Witcher videogame because Johnny is the best

Not actually divine, but small, child-like spirits who live in burrows of less inhabited areas. They protect and help those who treat them with kindness though are rarely seen and sometimes are mistaken imaginary friends of children. If treated with rudeness, they will abandon their burrows, usually leaving the area mostly uninhabitable unless coaxed back.

Crystal Spiders:
Living within the caves of the Fangs, these man-sized, eyeless arachnids have perfectly clear chitin allowing their last meal to be seen within. They spin thin filaments of webbing throughout the tunnels of their territory to alert them when creatures are passing through, waking them from their long hibernations to stalk their prey. They have long, slender legs, a thick abdomen, and fangs that release a paralyzing toxin that lasts for several minutes in an adult human. In lantern or firelight they are almost invisible within their subterranean home.

Molems - Small, furry rodents with a thick, thicc layer of fat beneath their mottled coats, these annoying pests can wreak havoc on a building's insulation and fur trappings in half a season. They infest in family groups, burrow underneath empty buildings, and then overrun them. Most active in Flowerbirth, when the ground thaws, and Longheat, they do most damage while preparing for hibernation in Leafchange, and then disappear during Deepfrost.

Swampy Board Area Ideaaaa
(Who's Epney? Who knows hehe)

The Morass of Epney

A veritable forest at first glance, a closer look upon entry will reveal that you seem to stand upon the soil of what might have once been a lake - to someone much, much larger than you. Looking up to the sky will reveal flora akon to lilypads, pondweed, and - at the top - all manner of beautiful blooms. But caution to those who may try and climb the stalks to harvest them...
