Finn almost chokes on his tea to hear her description of him in his worst moments, the Spyglass's cheeks a hot pink by now, and he absolutely can't look Tobi in the eye. "I am so sorry," he murmurs, not wanting to think about what he might have said or how he might have behaved, but at the same time feeling quite unable to help himself. "You must have the patience of the gods, Doctor Hart." His eyes crinkle at the corners a bit, and he risks a glance up at her.
"And you are twice as kind." He sips at his tea then, just in case he ends up further embarrassing himself (though at least now he's more likely to do it by showering Tobi with compliments than by swearing at her). To hear that he did it, though, has his throat growing tight, and he can only nod to her in agreement. He did do it. They both did.
