AISHA
Deimos you chicken, Aisha looked back over her shoulder as she left with Morgan to see the man walking towards the other solitary task. It wasn't a big deal, but it was so him wasn't it. She snorted to herself and turned back to her own task.

Not much got done on their front however, the builders were bickering when the two came in. The guildmaster smirked a bit, hanging back as Morgan asserted her title, the importance of their task, and with some brisk apologies and glares to each other, the builder family hopped on it. It would add some time but Aisha didn't mind, she jumped at the chance to speak when offered, leaned against the door frame, "I served my time and I'm still here, think I might be making a home and everything." There was a theatrical edge to her sarcasm.

"The Citadel is a good city," she added with a more humility and a thoughtful nod.

As the hunter crouched and spoke with the chicken farmer, he was not surprised at all by his reaction. In truth, Noah expected a much harsher reaction to the suggestion. With a lifted eyebrow, Noah rocked back on his heels. "I've known Chulane to be a pretty easy man to get along with," Noah propped his elbows on his knees before continuing, "and I don't think anything will happen with your flock. If anything, they might just get a little plumper. The ningos I have gotten from him have been the richest and best meat I've ever gotten from a bird." The fact that Noah had been eating ningo his entire life was implied, and he did not have to explain it to this man. "So what do you say, Arnold? We wrangle up these birds and move em over so that we can build the greenhouse, eh?" Glacier eyes turned to the birds before turning back to Arnold, body soft enough to convey the message. There were lots of things that Noah felt about the chickens moving to Chulane's, but he wouldn't say out loud because it would not matter to the natural man. He was too gruff to care that Chuy was a professional at animal handling and care, that he could mend a sick or broken creature, or that his heart may be made of literal gold.

--

Noah continues to try and convince him to move the chickens to Chulane's!

MORGAN
And oh, poor Atlas
The world's a beast of a burden
Deimos put the knife in his pocket and it seemed that no one would appear to claim it and complain; it was his to dispose of as he saw fit. Other than his discovery, the removal of snow would go smoothly.

Aisha's comment drew a raised eyebrow from Morgan, though it wasn't without a smile of dry amusement. "Served your time? Is that how you see it here?" Before the younger woman would have a chance to answer though, the supplies were ready, Morgan going to help lift things onto the cart and balance them correctly (she was, perhaps, a little bossy with the workers and how they stacked the items).

As for Noah, it seemed his familiarity with the people had become his greatest power; without much further argument the farmer agreed, nodding and standing as he gradually took his coop and chickens away from the site - not even grumbling as he left Noah's view. Now the space was ready, the supplies were brought and the real work could begin.

"We need to get an even surface first, so there's some concrete mixture to pour into any cracks or holes. Then a layer of wooden beams for structure...Since Frey is making a lot of the actual building, we're not sure how much to do." Morgan could only hope it was right - after all, she didn't want to bother the God over and over to get clarifications. Was this what it was like for those that regularly served the Gods all the time?

Never afraid of doing work, Morgan pushed her sleeves up to her elbows and went to grab a wheelbarrow to fill with concrete and take along the space lined out, ready to pour and smooth.

Everyone did well!

Next round: Lift and place the foundations for the greenhouse. Everyone can do this task together. No post order.

DEIMOS
ache first, but then let the cuts close
spit out the blood
Deimos’ incantation talents were rendered once more into far more useful accord; his eyes only drifting slightly over to Noah to watch the rest of the proceedings. It seemed the choice made earlier had been the right one; there was no way he would’ve handled things as well or smoothly as the hunter.

So when Morgan and Aisha returned, they were ready to carry on – a figment where he probably only needed to utilize his strength, brawn, and might. The Sword followed through on similar motions, grabbing hold of another wheelbarrow, ensuring it was filled with the mixture, and maneuvering it over to pour, smooth, and level out.

On notions of what was contained in his pocket, on the off chance it was one of theirs, he rumbled along the motions and movements. “Did any of you lose a knife? I found one while I was moving the snow.”

AISHA
At Morgan's reply Aisha's face broke out into a mischievous grin, and she could've gone on but they weren't here for friendly conversation. The builders returned with sheepish smiles, announcing that the supplies were ready. The warden and the swordswoman moved to the carts of supplies, got them set up in a more orderly fashion (Aisha was less meticulous but however Morgan wanted it she'd do it), and they moved the supplies back out to where the other's waited.

Noah seemed to have gotten his duty accomplished, the farmer sated for the time being, and Deimos had effectively cleared the snow. Aisha smiled their way and she pushed a cart into place, turning to face Morgan as she gave out the next set of tasks. With a nod that sent gold curls bobbing, Aisha flipped one of the acquired wheelbarrows, brushed it out and filled it with concrete. Then she moved to a designated spot to begin filling and smoothing.

She passed Deimos on the way, pausing to crane her neck for a peek at what he'd found. She reached for it, turned it over, then shook her head and tossed it back. "Pretty average, not mine," came her playful reply, and back to work she went.

The success the hunter had in convincing the man his plan was best was easily seen in the grin that spread across his handsome face. He turned back towards the group when Deimos asked his question. Noah's hands went to his belt and his fingers traced along it, finding his knife still nestled carefully within its sheath. "Not me." Noah shook his head, shrugging his shoulders in a dismissive manner. "Must be your lucky day." Perhaps finding a knife in Halo was the equivalent of finding a penny anywhere else.

Morgan, Aisha, and Deimos set to work with their concrete mixtures. Noah moved ahead of them to assure that each section of the frame for the foundation was set correctly before they poured their concrete in. When he needed to, he helped smooth out any bumps and tapped the wooden frame to dissolve any bubbles formed from pouring. "We will probably need to block this off somehow so that kids don't stumble through the wet foundation as it cures." Noah suggested, looking up at Morgan to see if she, too, had thought of that.

--

Noah makes sure the foundation frame stays in place as the concrete is poured and also helps smooth anything out if needed.

MORGAN
And oh, poor Atlas
The world's a beast of a burden
Morgan worked with the rest of them, pouring and settling the concrete; only when she was satisfied it was truly steady she stepped away, getting a better view of the final product from a distant view. It wasn't much now, a square of drying concrete in the midst of an otherwise empty courtyard, but with imagination she could see the Greenhouse there, providing food for her people.

She glanced over when Deimos asked about the knife, but only shook her head. Never a fan of blades anyway, and such a hastily made weapon would be the sort of thing she only reached for in a dire situation. That he'd found it in the snow could be troubling...she'd have to ask her guards to investigate the area and be sure it was not the possession of anyone wishing harm.

Noah made a good point and once she was sure no one was about to get frozen, Morgan construct a fence around the concrete made of ice spikes; no one would climb over them. "There. By the time it has melted, the concrete should be dry. Thank you, all of you, for your assistance."

Morgan places a fence of ice around the foundations to keep people off them while it dries.

The foundations have been laid! Thank you y'all~

DEIMOS
ache first, but then let the cuts close

With no one claiming the knife, he tucked it back into his pockets, rendering it for safekeeping until an owner was found or more evidence had been laid out for something else far more devious or scrupulous. He shrugged and let it be, eyes catching over their accomplishments instead of meandering his mind back towards the blade.

Thereafter, with everything taking shape, including the fence to ensure no one wandered straight into its midst (the beast wouldn’t be surprised – the temptation of concrete probably yearned straight into every individual’s potential for mischief), there was no more to be done at this venue. He managed to conjure another smile at the edges of his mouth, content with the progress, before proceeding onward, forward. “You are welcome,” he nodded, and then with a farewell to each individual, the Sword was off to his next round of duties and responsibilities.
