She's the kinda girl that you can never please
He is beautiful even when power turns swift instead of mighty. One hand rises to shade her eyes partially from the sun, watching sharp talons and mighty wings fell lesser birds in fewer moments than it would take for a master bowman to notch an arrow. The short-lived squawks of surprise and pain are an amusing addition to the hunt, and as their bodies hit the sand she obligingly plucks them up and begins to prepare their bodies for the fire. Once they are free of their feathers and inedible organs - that go into the ocean to feed some other hungry critter - they are placed on the stick they'd used moments before for fetch, and Ru settles into the sand to watch them cook as she waits for Deimos to join her. When he does, she tilts to lean against his side, wrapping her arms around legs that come up to her chest. She stares into the flames, hypnotized, and lets her thoughts go quiet beneath this blanket of joy they've created for themselves.
