Naked arms, his secrets still like songs I never learned

Rory.

It had been one of his first thoughts, his first instincts.

Show Rory. Though he didn't know why, the alchemist flew on sure and steady wings towards the farm with the small herd of sheep and the billowing plume of smoke. The alchemist felt excited and elated, as if what he carried with him might in some small way make up for the immutable distances he had seen in Rory's far off eyes, his description of the world into which Remi had been so unceremoniously hurled and where the blue-eyed man had found him.

Had Remi been better with animals rather than simply an amalgamation of them, perhaps he would have been able to read his friend's posture and presence better. The skittishness with Elyna and Bakshi, their hands not-touching in the drying and dying grasses, lingering glances that meant nothing in the temple and on the street that somehow still kept Remi awake at night.

On fluttery wings, Remi dipped down from the sky, stepping onto the snow from a body which molded itself elegantly from the breast of a blonde hawk. The chill in the air was brisk and bone-piercing, but still Remi's smile was boyish and bouyant. With a scarf and pelts wrapped around his shoulders to keep the worst of it at bay, he knocked enthusiastically against Rory's door, feeling a sudden geyser of excitement building in the back of his throat that made him want to loudly sing out the blonde's name in hasty anticipation.

Speaks with a thick Italian accent.
Force and magic can be used against Remi without permission.
