RAY
In ancient times
cats were worshipped as gods
Ray barely restrains from skipping into the shrine. It's taken longer than she initially expected, but the quest was finally done. She climbs up the shrine and places down her offerings. Remembering her prior encounters with Frey, Ray offers blushberries today. She also places some peaches and cookies, for varieties' sake.

The herbalist's excitement is hard to contain. She has no idea what Frey has come up with, but she's sure it'll be marvelous. And truly anything that can help her save a life will be worth it.

"Hi, Frey. Sorry it took longer than expected. But I've finally finished your quest. Thank you again for the opportunity." Beside the offerings, Ray places her potted Rae's Lilly, and her potted sentient vine.  She places her bags of Efas Herb and pebbles besides those.

Quest given: Blooming in adversity

1. Complete a thread collecting Efas Herb from the Labyrinth in the Hollowed Grounds. 2. Complete a thread collecting a sentient vine from the Oerwoud. 3. Complete a thread collecting pebbles from the banks of the Stonesong. Once these are complete, return and pray for Frey at a shrine, bringing all the items plus Rae's Lily.

Frey
"How vibrant they all look..." Frey is already plucking up the blushberries to eat them as they appear, all bronzed skin and moss creeping down the length of their spine. They kneel with Ray to examine the potted lily and vine, the pebbles, the herbs. "Yes, these will do nicely..." Humming to themselves, Ray will witness a deity at work.

Unlike other gods, Frey enjoys working with their hands. (Are you surprised?) The lily and the vine are freed from their pots - they warp and twist and change beneath the deity's influence, forming something knew. The Stonesong pebbles melt and change as well, bolstering the new item with strength, and the Efas Herbs infuse it with a purpose as pure as any.

When it's done, Frey is holding out a wand for the Attuned. Stone and vine twist together to create the length of the item, and small lilies organically bloom here and there upon it. "For you."

Ray has completed her quest and has received the following:

Healer's Wand | A wand that seems organic in structure, crafted from stone, vines and blooming lilies. Capable of delivering Basic Healing to one target.

This item may be upgraded in future!

Ray watches with open curiosity and wonder as Frey turns mere plants into an object of magic. Watching the wand take shape takes the herbalist's breath away. It's beautiful in appearance and the hum of magic it emits is intriguing. Ray reverently takes the wand from Frey, "Thank you."

The herbalist had been expecting something wonderful from this quest, given the time and the rarity of certain ingredients. But this? This wand far surpasses her expectations. As she holds it in her hands, it seems to nearly hum with magic and life. It's beautiful. Letting out a breath she nods at Frey and can't help but repeating herself, "Thank you so much."

Wand held gently but protectively in her hands; Ray sees herself out of the shrine.
