Edmund snarled in response, "Wrong place, wrong time. That was your mistake." The Ancient heaved, trying to catch his breath, "Nothing personal." The bloodlust needed to be satiated, and Mother needed her promised blood. Noah just happened to be the first creature that the new Ancient had spotted. Though clearly, he should have waited to find a weaker target.

The sun's coming up
Despite the rejuvination that Noah offered from Vi's blessing, the boy still raged with a fire that matched the place they were in. Noah wasn't entirely sure why he wouldn't relent. The hunter's jaw feathered again and his hands turned to fists at his side. Even with Edmund's hissing and spitting ire, Vi's demigod did not back down. Shaking his head, Noah's eyes darkened and he set his shoulders. "You." the Sentinel jutted his chin towards where he had come. "Get up, leave me be," Noah took a step forward before uttering the last words, "and remember me." There was no more kindness and no more mercy -- if Edmund came again, it would surely be his last assault. But the steel around your heart is starting to rust
