Feeling the shape of Ronin's thoughts through their bond, the Bastion winces, wondering if Flora would really be so obstinant as to invite Jack along. Quickly it occurs to him that yes, she absolutely would be, but then he has to wonder if he'd really be owed all the blame for killing Jack should that happen.
[say]"Jack mentioned something about how little we check in on Flora, and...I mean, regardless of all this, we should do it more. Mateo too."[/say] It was a promise they'd each made a number of times now, and though it was pathetic that it was going to be cemented by a man like Jack Barclay, Remi never wanted to hear about his poor parenting thrown back in his face again.
With nothing more than a sudden laugh as a warning, Remi slides his hand from Ronin's and shifts, his body shrinking into a ball of fiery red feathers. [say]I always forget I can do this.[/say] He hums, sounding shockingly joyful as the Rarog's aura coats them both in something buoyant and blissful that will hopefully soften the edges of their combined bad mood.
[say]Race me home? Winner gets to be dessert, loser has to eat it. [/say] So you know, win win.
