No sooner does the flash of the blade catch in the sun, than Vesper is a good 15ft away from the captain. There's a smile that curls on his lips and while the demigod keeps it from growing too smug, his dear old dad doesn't need access to his thoughts to know that his son believes he's actually come out ahead. [say]"Noted."[/say] He drawls, and instead of misty-stepping back, Vesper merely saunters casually toward the captain, shrugging out of his coat and handing it over.
Ruffling his fingers through his hair, Vesper sinks one hand into his pocket before using the other to offer a lazy long-fingered wave in Jack's direction. [say]"I'll be sure to let the girls know you say hello."[/say] Turning, the demigod heads to a more populated area, keen to rid himself of the strangely silent feeling of isolation that comes from spending too much time one-on-one with Jack.
