Liam's punch scraped the side of Noah's head, earning the demigod's approval. The soldier grinned in return. [say]"Nice dodge."[/say] Despite the fact that they were clearly not evenly matched, he felt good about how he'd managed to do in their spar so far. But he didn't have time to think about it now - for Noah was suddenly rushing him, striking with a powerful shoulder into Liam's chest. Taken by surprise, the air rushed out of Liam's lungs with an oof as he staggered backwards, only just managing to keep his feet.
When he'd regained his breath, he laughed. [say]"Now, that was a nice shot,"[/say] he said appreciatively. Unlike Noah, Liam had broken a sweat, and he ran a hand through damp hair. [say]"Thanks for that,"[/say] he said with a grin. [say]"I think I learned a thing or two."[/say]

Whenever Noah sparred with a dragoon there were always similarities. Having all received a great deal of training from Anju and Anna, he wasn’t ever surprised. Even the Deepfrost Shields had gained many of Deimos’ moves under his leadership. Liam, though, had a flare all his own that the demigod appreciated. Both enlightening and stretching, the Forsaken needed this.
Satisfied with their work, Noah offered Liam a smile and helped him back to his feet. [say]”I’ll show you around and buy you a drink if you ever find yourself in Halo.”[/say] Noah said, giving the man a last firm nod and a handshake of departure before he blinked out of sight and made his reappearance in the Citadel thanks to his compass.
