RE: take me as you found me - Koa - 03-28-2025

Nothing is going particularly well, and any enthusiasm Koa felt at the beginning of this venture has significantly waned. By the time Liam calls a halt our poor himbo is feeling thoroughly disheartened by his inability to conquer nature; he's more than ready to lay down his arms, though he grumbles all all the while.

At least carrying debris is something he can't fuck up haha famous last words. Without protest Koa gathers up an armful of vines, though he is careful to hold them at arm's length - the last thing he needs is for one to somehow come back to life and strangle him before he can set them alight.

Pipsqueak, meanwhile, is having a gay old time; having given up her pursuit of the orchid, she now settles into her favorite past time of stalking poor Sol. Inky eyes gleam from beneath a suspiciously jittery bush; her sinewy body wiggles in anticipation as the cubby little dragon lumbers past, and then, bam! She leaps from the darkness, snatching her young friend's stick for herself with a taunting crow of pride.

Though the actual chopping of the brush had been a painful endeavor, dragging the pieces over to the burn pit was not. In fact, between the three of them, they made short work of it, and hardly any time had passed before it was time to light the pile on fire. It took to flame quickly, and Liam turned to his companions with a sheepish smile, watching as the dragons played.

[say]"Thanks,"[/say] he said to the pair of dragoons. [say]"I appreciate the help, even if things didn't quite go to plan. I need to stay and make sure this fire doesn't burn out of control, but if you're ever around again, look me up and we can grab a drink - my treat."[/say]
