RE: by faith, not by sight - Dantalion - 07-09-2025

[say]"You're not wrong,"[/say] Danta agrees with a wistful sigh. [say]"And you also look good in very little, so you're winning on both fronts."[/say] Flashing her a salacious smile over his shoulder, he collects his cardigan and leads them out of the sweltering sanctuary of the shrine and back into the comparatively breezy temple interior.

The mere suggestion of having Safrin worshipped in a similar way has his eyebrows shooting up with a mix of approval and surprise. [say]"You think she would condone it?"[/say] he asks, sounding intrigued. [say]"If so our goddesses might have more in common than I first gave them credit. And there's no harm in trying, no?"[/say]

Who knows - perhaps Safrin likes bloodshed and lust in her name?

[say]"Thank you,"[/say] he adds in a lower voice, shrugging back into the cardigan. [say]"For coming with me. It was an honour to show it to you, really."[/say]

RE: by faith, not by sight - Flora - 07-09-2025

Flora arches her brows in playful response, but her smile softens into something quietly luminous, the kind of expression that glows more than it dazzles. There’s warmth there—genuine, if a little wry—as she accepts the compliment like it’s a flower pressed into her palm, cherished but not fussed over. [say]"I suppose it depends on the kind of devotion,"[/say] she muses aloud, thoughts flickering like candlelight as they step out into the cooler air of the temple proper. [say]"Safrin likes attention. Craves it, really. So if someone’s offering up temporary pain or passion in her name, I think she’d approve—so long as she’s the one being glorified by it."[/say] Her tone is thoughtful, not critical; she’s too familiar with the goddess’s appetites to pretend otherwise. [say]"She might not love the kind of chaos Dygra thrives in, but she’ll embrace just about anything that keeps her at the centre of the altar."[/say]

At his quiet thanks, she glances up and offers him a smile that’s all sun-drenched affection. [say]"It was my pleasure,"[/say] she purrs.

With a gentle tug at Danta’s hand, Flora’s golden bangles chime faintly as she draws him forward, momentum carrying her like a breeze through a sacred place. [say]"Show me the rest of the Temple?"[/say]
