She watched as his gaze went from the bench to Petronella, brow arching as if she were thoroughly confused and unaware of the reason for the exchange. Shrugging, she snorted again, listening to the description of imminent channeling instead. [say]“Well that’s kinda ass,”[/say] she mentioned, nose wrinkling at the thought. What if she were in the middle of a shower? Or trying to have breakfast? Or some other compromising bullshit? [say]“I can see why Remi and Ronin weren’t impressed last time.”[/say] No warning, no heads-up, just taken out of their beds and sent out into a maelstrom. And while she might often be prepared for violence, she couldn’t guarantee it all the time.
Man, especially if she’d been sleeping.
[say]“Maybe I’ll luck out and just not be summoned,”[/say] she sneered, shrugging, incapable of telling if it bothered her or not. Eyeing his apple, and feeling slightly bad about the sandwich theft, she pointed towards the markets far off in the distance. [say]“Wanna go get something else to eat?”[/say] She could at least, sneakily or not, pay him back.
