RE: into the twilight - Deimos - 02-13-2026 Cement done, his eyes went to the portions they’d be lifting, surveying the created, ornamental design. Pondering if Noah had done it himself, and if so, it must’ve taken an abundance of the Sentinel’s time, he heard Flora asking the same inquiry, and opted to remain silent, gaze giving it another once over before they needed to begin the next round of motions. Arching his brow, he only snorted at Flora’s insinuation, never the type to presume anything would be easy. Dutifully taking hold of a side, the Sword utilized his strength, fortitude, and might, to assist in hauling over the shrine’s expanse to its new threshold. RE: into the twilight - Noah - 02-17-2026 [say]"I came up with the design, and got help from the Gilded Market in its creation. One of Safrin's daughters actually made it, with her own magic."[/say] The final lift proved easier than the labor that had come before it. Noah took his place with them, hands settling into the grip. Deimos moved opposite him without needing instruction, steady as bedrock, while Flora slid into position at the side, trowel traded for leverage and balance. [say]"Together."[/say] Noah said. They raised it in one smooth motion. No jerking strain followed, no scramble to correct. The shrine rose cleanly, balanced between them, its center of gravity keeping it upright while theur combined strength lifted it. The earlier leveling, the careful foundation, the dried cement — all of it paid its due now. Their steps stayed measured and unhurried as they crossed the short distance to the platform. They reached the edge and turned as one. Noah watched the corners line up with the pad’s edges, sighting down the angles like he would a set joint or a wall brace. They lowered the shrine into place without scrape or stumble. The base met the platform with a soft, grounded thud and only the smallest scrape of stone on stone. Noah kept one palm against it a moment, feeling for wobble, but there was none. Going back to the shrine's conception and construction, noah added as he slid his hand down the length of it. [say]"Safrin had me collect materials related to her and Vi. For her, I got water from the springs littered with moon and starlight. For Vi, dragon egg shells and new flower blossoms. The dragon egg shells are within the stone of the shrine. The water from the springs will go here,[/say]" Noah pointed to the basin. [say]"and I am hoping that Safrin will bless the flower buds to bloom along the base in spite of Halo's climate."[/say] He watched both of their faces for their thoughts. [say]"Thank you both."[/say] Noah said as another, familiar, eye-wrinkling smile spread across his face. It was finished. [say]"It is time for me to see Safrin, now. Again, thank you. And congrats, both of you, for the good news in your families."[/say] and that completes the PQ~ Thank you for your help! FIN |
