RE: and she’s burning it down - Amhran - 02-28-2026

Brightening to hear that he would be welcome to come and see the First Flame in person, Amhran nods to hear of Nina's usual times there. [say]"I will try and drop by soon then. Maybe I will see you again,"[/say] he says, slowly straightening back up from the boulder he's been leaning against and offering her a warm smile. [say]"I wouldn't dream of disturbing it,"[/say] he adds. [say]"I have a healthy respect for fire, and it's not just because I was brought up in Halo."[/say]

Having been a plant prior to being anything else, it's of little surprise that Amhran doesn't relish the idea of being burned, but that doesn't mean the Raeling can't appreciate the Flame and its Keeper for the significant role both play for the region. [say]"I ought to get back, so I will let you relax in peace,"[/say] he continues, checking one last time to ensure his injury has been healed away before he shoots a final, friendly smile towards her. [say]"It was nice to meet you, Nina."[/say]

RE: and she’s burning it down - Nina - 02-28-2026

Nina smiled, pleased to find that Amhran seemed truly interested in the First Flame and appreciative of its role in the region. She would indeed be glad to see him again, and to impart upon him more wisdom regarding the Flame and its importance. In the meantime, though, it seemed he was readying to depart, and she was not going to hold him up. [say]"It was nice to meet you as well, Amhran,"[/say] she said. [say]"I hope to see you soon."[/say]

And as the young man departed, Nina sank back into the healing waters of the hot springs. Ember lingered within arm's reach, providing a small amount of warmth to the parts of Nina not covered by the water. And the two of them were content there for a while before packing up to head for home.
