“[say]Oh, you’re right.[/say]” Kia trills with a look that seems to suggest she hadn’t thought about not sharing how much of a gentleman Fox was, but any further banter dies with the difficulty of the unicorn. At least the next part is easy, and as she wipes her hands off on her pants, she tugs her ponytail back behind her shoulders to straighten up and get started on the second to last leg.
Giving Asta shit was probably the most fun part of filling the hay sacks, enough that she doesn’t focus too much on everything else other than trying to speed run this portion of it, otherwise she might be forced to think about the soreness of her limbs.
Before long, though, it’s done and she sidles up beside her husband again as Danta lists out the last task, breathing a bit of relief to hear that the last task would be something easy and with the promise of food and drink. She links her arm with Fox to practically tug him into the Temple with her and works alongside him to open up the windows in the Temple so the unicorns can see in.

Kiada isn't the only one relieved to hear that the last part of their work is something easy; standing beside his wife and trying to arch his back to make it crack, Fox knows he'll be aching like hell when he next wakes up. That won't be for hours yet though, so in the meantime he looks forward to the ever-so-difficult (not) task of opening some windows for some unicorns.
Linking his arm casually with Kia's, he presses a gentle kiss to her temple as they make their way inside, careful not to track hay or dust as they head for the windows adjacent to the stable. [say]"Ah, they've got coffee,"[/say] he says with a grin that doesn't quite hide his relief, unlatching a large stained glass window and patting the nose of the unicorn that pokes its head in, before going to pour a mug for himself and the harpy.

It certainly sounds perfect, and Danta doesn't even try to hide the way he ducks beneath one of Astaroth's arms to lean against him while they step inside the Temple. The streets had been quiet but in here it always feels ceremonial, almost, the only noise that of latches being drawn and windows creaking open. Releasing the butcher so he can go and take advantage of the sweet treats on offer, Danta moves to one of the last windows in the row, easing it open to let the morning air billow in.
[say]"I think... we might have done it."[/say] Laughing disbelievingly as he approaches the spread of food and drink, Danta also opts for coffee, raising his cup in a toast to the little group. [say]"That was a good fucking effort,"[/say] he tells them all, visibly pleased. [say]"Thanks for your hard work - now let's go and get some sleep, yeah?"[/say]
They're free to linger and enjoy the breakfast on offer for as long as they like, but at least for Danta (and hopefully Asta as well), he's keen to make a quick exit for bed.
