RE: the bright lights led me - Charlie - 07-16-2024

[say]"I don't think we did up until recently."[/say] Waggling the fingers of one hand, Charlie lifts her coffee to her lips and then promptly disappears and reappears just a foot or so away. Grinning, she takes a slurp. [say]"Useful though, huh? I can't go super far, but it definitely helps."[/say] Especially when you were, ahem, vertically challenged.

[say]"Such a shame that it's that way, you know? You'd think being a complete asshole is the biggest sexual fetish, but really I think it just shows that more people are garbage than we think."[/say] It was just unfortunate for the majority of the whores when and where those tendencies made themselves known.

Hidden by the large heart-shaped lenses of her sunglasses, Charlie was fluttering her eyelashes up at Isla as the other woman considered. [say]"Amazing! I'll definitely do that! I'm also making different sorts of worship rooms inside of the Temple, too."[/say] The priestess adds proudly, before her steps slow and she glances over her shoulder.

[say]"Uhm, do you know what time it is?"[/say]

RE: the bright lights led me - Isla - 07-16-2024

[say]"Very useful,"[/say] Isla says, visibly impressed and prompted to take another sip of her drink as Charlie does the same - she'd been a little distracted by the foot traffic and the conversation, in truth. [say]"I've recently learned... Bloodboon, is it called? I can't say I've ever healed people quite in that way before, but it also has its uses,"[/say] she murmurs. Perhaps there are texts she can track down to see if Ancients ever had other abilities? She doubts it, but never say never.

[say]"Isn't that the truth,"[/say] she agrees warmly with her fellow blonde, raising her coffee to gently toast it against Charlie's. [say]"Still, perhaps I'm biased, but do visit the House of Midnight if you get a chance. I think you'd really enjoy it."[/say] Not that she's going to give away the secret of its Frey-blessed rooms. Finding out is half the fun.

With the healing fountain in sight, Isla glances behind her for Charlie and raises her eyebrows, before glancing through the buildings at a nearby clocktower. [say]"Almost three?"[/say]

[say]"Mm! Definitely good in a pinch, and better still if you've got a thing for pain."[/say] The blonde says with a fiendish grin, her tail waggling animatedly behind her. The give and take nature of the ability was certainly very on brand for the ancients, but it went without saying that they also came by their masochism fairly honestly as well.

[say]"Well..."[/say] Raising her eyebrows until they were visible above her sunglasses, Charlie shuffled suggestively forward a few steps before placing her lips on her straw and taking a long sip. [say]"..we could always go together? I promise I won't make it feel like work."[/say] Far from it, she'd make the Remedy feel like a goddess in her own right, such would be Charlie's worshipping of her.

[say]"Oh sh—!"[/say] As the expletive leaves Charlie's lips, a comical shout goes out from the other side of the street, drowning her out. [say]"I'm going to be late!"[/say]

RE: the bright lights led me - Isla - 07-16-2024

Isla doesn't not have a thing for pain, but certainly not to the degree of some of the Ancients, and particularly not the old school ones, it seems. Regardless, that whole being a doctor in a brothel thing comes in handy in allowing her smile to stay polite as Charlie explains. Having slowed her steps as the other woman seems to be checking the time, to hear the sudden proposition spill from her lips is, of course, a surprise and then some, Isla's cheeks flushing pink.

[say]"That is very kind of you,"[/say] she says, [say]"but I just recently got into a new relationship. We're still in that stage of discovering each other, if you know what I mean."[/say] I.e. they can't be left alone too long anywhere before trying to find somewhere to fuck. [say]"But if you do visit, ask to see the owner. His name is Sunjata Wrenzaok - tell him you're a friend. He'll definitely make sure you have a good night."[/say]

When exactly that might be, though, is up for debate, based on Charlie's sudden lateness. [say]"Oh gods, I'm sorry to have kept you,"[/say] she says. [say]"Do you have a flighted shift? If so, the quickest way to the docks would be down over that railing."[/say] She points behind them, where they've just come from.

RE: the bright lights led me - Charlie - 07-16-2024

[say]"I dunnoooooooo."[/say] Clearly not put off by Isla's meager defenses, the little ancient just bounces her eyebrows. [say]"That's the best time to fuck other people. Together, I mean, y'know, before things get stale and you find that you're more jealous than turned on."[/say] Switching her tail back and forth, Charlie makes note of Sunjata's name as she flashes Isla a knowing smile. [say]"Next time you're with your new relationship, and the thought of seeing him on his knees while I'm between yours doesn't cross your mind, I'll owe you another coffee."[/say]

Glancing towards the docks with her lower lip between her teeth, Charlie nodded a touch frantically before shooting Isla a sunny smile. [say]"It was really nice to meet you. I'll let you know once the Shrine is done, and you can let me know if I owe you a coffee or not."[/say] With a wink, the little blonde collapsed into a ball of black feathers, before fluttering her way over the railing and towards the docks.
