He half expected more of a fight, seeing the reluctance in Hadama's gaze. However, when the Mer King spoke again, there was a shift in their relationship that had Zavien's eyes widening. To be honest, he'd already considered the man somewhat of a friend, but it was nice to hear the title made official.
Grasping the man's hand firmly to stand, Zavien gave him a warm smile in return. [Say]"Friends and allies. I would like that."[/say] As he gathered the meat into his bag, making sure to wrap it, he chuckled. [Say]"Although maybe we shouldn't go so long between meetings next time."[/say] Considering their options, he said, [say]"Meet me during Longheat in the Falling. That should be enough time for me to get answers."[/say] With their meeting decided, Zavien felt a weight lift off his shoulders. The nerves he'd been carrying as a 'spy' vanished. The concern he'd had about clarifying with Hadama was gone. All that remained was a sense of determination and comradery for the coming tribulations. As they walked out of the forest, Zavien had a grin on his face and a pep in his step, ready to take on the world.
