Deimos couldn’t help the slight laugh that echoed after Jack’s statement – smothering it down as best he could – for it seemed everywhere had similar sentiments. The Grounds had more than enough in all their timeframes there, King’s End thrived on ghosts, Halo had its elements and monsters, Torchline had volcanoes…he could persist in listing, but it wasn’t necessary. [say]“Thank you for helping all the same,”[/say] he offered to both Jack and Iskra for the efforts. Some relief measured in most of them remaining unharmed, and a quick glance to Zuriel was made in assurance – she rolled her eyes and snorted.
But once they peered out – and decided the area was fine, there wasn’t much left to do. [say]“Seems like we can disperse then. I will go inform the merchants of our success.”[/say] And hopefully nothing else lurked or cropped up the next day – but this was Caido, and something was bound to echo.
From there though, they could all wind their ways home – content that there were several more daemons squashed and dissipated back into the ether.
