RE: am I stitching up seams, or pulling on triggers? - Jack - 08-22-2025 [say]"If I say yes, you'll never go,"[/say] Jack points out with a smirk, already rolling to his feet to stretch and to grab up the rest of his clothes that he'd tossed aside upon finding Flora in his cabin. At her remark he pauses in the buttoning of his shirt, raising an eyebrow across at her. [say]"Alright - I reckon it's time you got your ass movin' so I can enjoy watchin' you go,"[/say] he corrects himself with a roguish wave of his hand. Having always been intending to kiss her before she left, he nevertheless softens despite himself to hear her ask for it. Tugging at his sleeves and shrugging into his waistcoat, Jack closes the distance between them to tug her back against him, his hands on her hips. His kiss, when it comes, is more like a temptation than a goodbye, the captain drawing back just when it seems he might pin her against his desk instead. [say]"Go, so you can come back,"[/say] he says, winking and pulling away at last. He leaves the cabin before she does, just so when he goes he can see that she's still in there. Maybe that way he can pretend it's true until they get to Stormbreak and he has to see it empty again. ~FIN |
