RE: it's just a bloodstain - Flora - 08-03-2024

Being crushed beneath the captain has the air squished from Flora's lungs, but gods she doesn't care in the least, not still swept away in the boneless euphoria of her orgasm. Her hips relax by degrees, her hand having slid out from beneath their bodies in order to wrap back around the captain's shoulders as her legs uncoil from around his waist and instead slide lazily down the back of his calves.

Fluttering sweet kisses against the top of his head, Flora cradles Jack's neck with one hand while languidly letting her fingers trace the various lines of muscle and scar tissue along his back with the other.

Like a sleeping tiger indeed, the queen lets herself bask in the docile feel of the captain all around her, unable to help the smile that has her cheeks rounding hard enough to ache nor the buoyant lightness that has a joyful scream building in the back of her throat. Exhaling a shivery breath, Flora curls enough to press a kiss against the captain's hairline and temple. [say]'Tell me that wasn't better than coffee.'[/say] She murmurs, fully anticipating him telling her that unlike coffee, that hadn't woken him up at all.

RE: it's just a bloodstain - Jack - 08-03-2024

It's in these lingering moments where Jack doesn't mind the closeness Flora craves - when the world is silent but for the pleasure and satisfaction that floods every delicate thread of his magic, and there's space between each heartbeat to be, not in the sense of what he is to everyone else or what he's built himself up to become, but to just exist in the way he might have as an Abandoned without the extra burden. The moments usually only last seconds, granted, and the shutters that glide seamlessly down around his mind soon have him extracting himself from any prospect of lingering intimacy with another person. Not today though, apparently.

Shifting enough only that Flora might be able to get a real lungful of air with each breath, his eyes press shut against the whisper soft feel of her lips and hands, almost resenting the touch as much as he craves it. At least she has the good sense to offer a distraction, and Jack scoffs a laugh into the crook of her neck. [say]"I wouldn't say better, love,"[/say] he agrees, his voice a low and husky rumble against her skin. [say]"I still wouldn't say no to it either, though."[/say]

Snorting, Flora relaxes her head back and regards the pale shadows on her ceiling as they shiver and tremble with the leaves outside of her window. Though she agrees about the coffee, it's a long few moments before she's at all inclined to move. Assuming she'll feel the captain stiffen above her or just up and leave when he's done with her fussing, Flora allows herself a handful more minutes wherein she flutters adoring kisses against his forehead and chases away any tension her fingers can find in his shoulders.

Eventually, they do get up and it's another tableau of domestication as Flora putters about her kitchen and puts Jack to work boiling water and fetching mugs. When all is said and done and they each have a coffee in hand, the queen blows softly over the rim of her cup as she eyes the captain across from her. However hot and tasty the brew, she was convinced it would have tasted entirely bitter had it not been for the sweet way they'd chosen to wake up instead.
