Returning to the shrine, after these days of chaos, forged him into another stoic entity. The necessity lingered through each and every aspect of their home, and there was no more delaying the inevitable.
Halo needed other means of protection – because the void beckoned and called.
Kneeling before the shrine, he couldn’t recall a time he’d met Vi. Amalia, Noah, and Ronin were within those parameters and parallels. So he gleaned into offerings of life, placing a variety of goods: a small, potted citrus tree, cut and snagged from their own greenhouse, a bowl of their springs’ mending water, and fresh baked goods – ornamental and beautiful, inlet with stars across the top of their loaves.
Swallowing down all his misgivings and trepidation again, steeling and forging his efforts, the Sword bowed his head and prayed. [say]“Vi, if you would be willing, Halo would appreciate your efforts in protecting the Citadel from the void.”[/say]

Like calls to like, or so they say. It's perhaps strange, then, that Deimos has never encountered the mercurial God of Life, given that the Sword might find it akin to looking in a mirror some days.
Vi appears without flair or pomp, the shrine around him seeming to charge and pulse with some inner light, as if his presence can barely be contained in the form he chooses to take. Standing before Deimos - and the offerings that the Sword has brought are already gone, he might note - he bows his head once; not in greeting, but in acceptance.
[say]"Your region has defended itself admirably against the forces of the void. Let this be an extra layer of protection for the coming seasons. Move quickly, Sword. Time is not on our side."[/say]
The roll to call down Vi was not successful, and so MP has been deducted from Heather
Halo has received a RQ!
Tasks. There is no time limit. There are currently 8 active Halovians. This means 4 unique characters have to participate. Characters can participate more than once. Deimos must participate in at least 2 threads.
1. A thread of at least 3 Halovians gathering evergreen boughs from the Greenwing
2. A PQ placing those boughs all around the borders of the Citadel. Must have 8 rounds.
3. A thread with at least 1 Halovian, capturing a void Flora or Fauna from every major region (SB, H, HG, KE), kept alive and brought at the time of turn-in. OR one vein of Void Crystal from within Starfall Island.

Like might’ve called to like, but never would the Sword put himself on the same par as the God of Life – despite obvious similarities. Stoicism was the current chord now, and Deimos had barely enough time to raise his head, and survey Vi, before the utterances were shared. He nodded, striving to take everything in, and then relenting simply to the necessity and direness of the hour. [say]“Thank you for the opportunity. We will do our best.”[/say] Because that was all they had now – swiftness and determination, intending to protect and shield something already put at a greater, larger risk.
So he hastened outwards with a long bow beforehand; intending to send himself and his constituents far and wide to encompass the whole.
