I dreamed about it in the dark - Safrin - 03-02-2025

Far out on the restless sea, The Ark drifted under a twilight sky, its worn planks catching the last glimmers of day. On the weathered railing, Safrin leaned with a languid grace—a figure carved in midnight and starlight. The fitted, low-cut coat she wore hugged every curve, revealing the delicate line of her collarbone and the subtle strength of her shoulders. Her dark hair cascaded in wild, unbound waves, each strand catching stray glints of light like scattered embers.

She tilted her head ever so slightly, her eyes dancing with impish mischief as they scanned the endless horizon. With a slow, deliberate breath, she called out, [SAY]"Jack…"[/say] Her voice, soft and laced with a teasing promise, drifted over the salt-laden air, wrapping itself around the hull of the ship like a secret invitation.

[say]"Come to me, Jack,"[/say] she murmured, her tone an irresistible blend of challenge and longing, as if the very winds were urging him to answer. In that suspended moment, the rugged edges of The Ark and the wild vastness of the ocean became the stage for a clandestine allure—a summons woven from the language of the stars that would shake the captain from even the deepest of slumbers.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Jack - 03-02-2025

Jack doesn't dream. Not unless it's a nightmare, of which he's had far too many in the time since Pierce had killed him with Wilde's Rapier. And so he's unsure, when his eyes open in his cabin, whether this is real or something painted exquisitely onto the canvas of his mind by the lady of the stars. Regardless, her call comes like the song of a siren on the waves, and he finds his way towards the deck on bare, silent feet.

Having just about managed to pull on a shirt to ward off the night chill, the pale linen flutters open about him, unbuttoned, and he approaches the goddess slowly, cautiously, as if in a daze. His magic reaches for her right to the fringes of its range - a range that has increased exponentially thanks to the additions that glint upon his hands and wrist.

[say]"Safrin,"[/say] he rumbles, drawing to a halt before her and ducking his head in a respectful nod of greeting. Each part of him remains poised, nervous almost, for the explosion of the cosmos behind his eyes that would drag him to his knees and render him unable to think or speak.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Safrin - 03-02-2025

Dulling the cosmic impact of her thoughts so that her celestial nature would twinkle against Jack's telepathy rather than bombard it, Safrin extends a hand toward the captain, beckoning him closer. [say]"Aren't the stars beautiful?"[/say] The heavens, whether aglow from the dream or simply awakened after LongNight, burst around them in a magnificent display. At that moment, without need for command, The Ark lifted off from the sea, soaring higher with an effortless grace.

Safrin's gaze, mischievous and inviting, never wavered from Jack's face. As she spoke, her hand moved languidly to caress the side of his jaw, a delicate yet deliberate touch that traced the strong line of his cheek, imparting a pulse of crisp starfire directly into his bones which would leave him feeling light and strong all at once. Her eyes roved appreciatively over him—the way his features caught the dying light, the subtle strength in his stance, and the greedy sort of fealty she knew he harboured for her.

[say]"Jack…"[/say] Safrin began again, her voice soft and husky, as if every word was dipped in moonlight. The subtle flicker in her eyes deepened, and she drew a slow breath that seemed to suspend time. Maybe it even did. [say]"Tell me,"[/say] she purred, her tone both inviting and tantalizing, [say]"what is your price for another child?"[/say] The cosmos of her mind briefly opened to him, the galactic spiderwebbing strata revealing the need for another demigod to take Seren's place.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Jack - 03-03-2025

Flinching almost imperceptibly to feel the Ark lift from the water without his command, Jack finds himself ferried closer to the goddess, his eyes flicking to the sky and his magic brushing tentatively against the cosmic silk of Safrin's mind, as if to sample it before it can burn him through. [say]"Mm, always,"[/say] he agrees, his voice little more than a low rumble. Beautiful and necessary for him to navigate when home is far from any map, as vital to a captain as the wind in the sails of his ship.

Inhaling a quick breath to feel her touch against his cheek, and the effortless strength it sends flooding throughout his body, his blue eyes are dragged from the stars above to their creator's beautiful face. He knows what she's about to say before the words leave her lips, his telepathic touch like an upturned palm, eager to catch any thoughts that rain down upon him like meteorites.

[say]"I..."[/say] He trails off, knowing that Safrin will read him more easily than he might read anyone, but hesitating nonetheless until he finds the bedrock of his resolve, and the roots of desire that have begun to push into it. [say]"I don't know that it's a price you can pay,"[/say] he says slowly, nodding out over the railing to the black waters below - and the hue of purple on the horizon.

[say]"Not that I doubt you, but the void is a crack in your celestial armour. And I want to know how I can explore that island without gettin' mauled by it, without havin' to become a Friend of the Family."[/say]

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Safrin - 03-03-2025

Safrin’s eyes glittered with a predatory gleam as she slowly slid her fingers along the edge of her fitted jacket. With a deliberate, languid motion, she began unbuttoning it, each released fastener drawing the fabric away to reveal a glimpse of the lace bra that clung to her like a second skin. As the jacket fell open, the soft glow of the starlight caught the gentle curve of her cleavage, framing it in a subtle yet irresistible display that was meant to guide Jack's attention just as surely as the stars above often guided his ship.

She moved gracefully to the ship’s railing, her body shifting so that she perched with a casual, almost teasing ease despite the way the world rushed by beneath them. Leaning forward, her dark hair cascaded around her shoulders, she again held out a hand to draw him closer to her.

[say]"Exploring Starfall?"[/say] The goddess raises a brow. [say]"Here I thought perhaps you'd been looking to make the Ark impenetrable. Or sentient, even."[/say] Her eyes widen a touch at that as if she might tempt him to change his mind. He's not the only one with telepathy, though, and the insights that Safrin is able to glean from his thoughts have her straightening a touch.

[say]"You know...there would be no need for us to create another demigod between us if that is a roll you would care to play?"[/say]

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Jack - 03-03-2025

Raising his eyebrows as Safrin starts to unfasten the coat she wears, the captain's gaze is as appreciative as any might expect, though as the goddess knows well, her cleavage is nowhere near as enticing as the rivers of starlight that flow between them, as the kiss-chase of thought and doubt and ideas and inspiration. There's something different about this than last time, though, and the captain has the vague sensation that he's in dangerous waters, though he steps towards her as effortlessly as a magnet drawn to its opposing pole.

Unused to being an open book to others, Jack tears his gaze away from Safrin's otherworldly beauty and down to the churning, inky waters below. He frowns, his mind turning jagged with the frustration of the sort of impotence he's very much unused to. [say]"Those things ain't much use when we're all kissin the Family's feet,"[/say] he points out. [say]"I thought you'd have been all over the good fight to get rid of 'em."[/say] What with the going deep into the cosmos to try and prevent it from the start.

As for his own role in all of this, he can only scrunch his nose and cock his head towards her. [say]"I ain't built for that kind of obedience,"[/say] he says with a wolfish grin. [say]"I'm no hero."[/say]

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Safrin - 03-03-2025

Draping her arms around Jack’s broad shoulders, Safrin pulled him against the railing with a languid, teasing ease, her thighs spreading to welcome him closer. [say]"You don't think I am?"[/say] she mused, of being all over the good fight? [say]"Deimos and Hadama have been given the tools to push back the void, and soon Vesper will too."[/say]

A sly smile played at her lips as she let her hand rest gently against his chest. No Jack might not be a hero, but therein lay his charm, the nuance of it made all the more clear in moments such as this. [say]"I can give you a way to mask yourself on Starfall, so that even the void flora and fauna come to see you as one of their own—a friend, rather than an enemy."[/say]

Gently, with a languid deliberation, Safrin lifted her chin, her knees sliding slowly against the outside of Jack's thighs. In that moment, her mind opened like a vast cosmos before him, tempered by a barrier that would allow him to drift through it all without being swallowed by the enormity of it. Within her, entire galaxies swirled—a nebula of passion and pleasure waiting to be explored. Jack would almost feel the pulse of countless stars, each one a spark of desire, ready to ignite if only he agreed to the universe she offered. Her telepathic whispers wove through the dark, salt-tinged air, painting vivid visions of fiery comets and luminous orbits.

[say]"Give me what I want, and I will give you what you want."[/say] She whispered, and though she tilted one hand between them to take just as he had last time, it wouldn't take a telepath to know that what Safrin wanted just now was more than the touch of the captain's hand against hers.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Jack - 03-03-2025

[say]"I didn't say that,"[/say] Jack points out with a crooked grin, though there's something like relief that floods through him to know that the gods are continuing to work their machinations in the background, that the Deimos' and Hadamas (and, yes, Vespers) of the world are still out there, trying to spearhead the impossible. It's enough to let Jack pull his own selfish, vengeful strings, and if that gives them all the same happy ending? Where's the harm?

The goddess's hand feels like fire against his chest, her every touch threatening to set him ablaze like dry kindling on a Longheat afternoon, and he can taste the temptation in her mind as it unfolds, promising the sort of pleasure that goes beyond dreams or imagination. [say]"That'd work quite well for what I have planned,"[/say] he agrees, almost breathless with the way Safrin's mind coils around his own.

The pulse of starlight vibrates through his body to the beat of his own heart, and though Jack's hand slips between them to clasp her soft, supple fingers, there's a devilish smile on his lips. [say]"It's a deal,"[/say] he whispers, reaching out to touch his mind to her own and leaning in to seal the agreement with the hungry press of his lips.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Safrin - 03-03-2025

Safrin’s kiss erupted onto Jack’s lips, raw and demanding—a collision of fire and starlight that left no room for pretense. Her fingers pressed against his skin as she pulled him flush against her, the heat of her desire palpable against the cool night air. Slowly, deliberately, she slid the last few buttons of her jacket open, the fabric falling away to reveal a moon-pale body sculpted by the heavens. Every curve, every delicate line was bathed in the stark glow of distant galaxies, a promise of pleasure that shimmered in the space between them.

As she clung to him, her legs wrapped around his thighs with an intimate, almost predatory grace, as her eyes darkened. Through their telepathic link, she offered him not just the physical but a window into her cosmos—a swirling vision of pulsating nebulae and glimmering star clusters that promised to overwhelm his senses without swamping them completely. Each mental image was a raw burst of desire, a universe of intimate secrets unfolding just for him.

[say]Have me, Jack.[/say]

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Jack - 03-04-2025

It's a good thing that Jack doesn't have any pretense in mind; swamped by even this small fraction of the goddess's psyche, he's greedy for every scrap of it he can lay claim to without it burning through his body and magic. Her body presses against his own - already very much standing to attention even before her thighs lock around his waist. Rough hands lay claim to perfect curves, roaming over lace and silk and soft skin as if to see what might cause those nebulae to shiver with colour, what might make those stars sing.

Gods, he might have said, or even thought, but that in itself doesn't really do justice to it. Because it isn't the gods - it's just one, her touch like the sun and her voice like the cosmos collapsing into itself.

[say]"I don't reckon anyone can have you,"[/say] he breathes into the fraction of space between their lips. [say]"But I'll get as close as I can."[/say]

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Safrin - 03-06-2025

Safrin’s eyes burned with a fierce, unyielding hunger before her lips descended on Jack's in a kiss that was raw and demanding, an unrestrained melding of divine fire and mortal desire as she seemed to try and devour the particular brand of charm that dripped from his lips.

Drawing the captain further against her, her hand sliding from his jaw to trace the hard planes of his neck. The touch was incendiary, setting every nerve aflame as if a supernova had burst within her. Her fitted jacket, already loosened earlier, now lay carelessly open, exposing skin that shimmered under the starlight—a luminous, almost otherworldly canvas that rivaled the glow of distant galaxies. Hers was a body after which the figurehead of many a ship were modeled, Jack's included, but echoes of it could be seen in sculptures and drawings all across Caido. Her curves were soft and yet precise, hers being a body that was somehow both soft and explorable while also being taut.

With a low, husky murmur that vibrated with intimate urgency, she pulled him closer still. Her thighs, pressing against his waist, anchored him to the present even as her thoughts soared through the infinite expanses of the night. Her hands roamed his skin, each caress echoing the tender burn of a thousand stars colliding in a supermassive embrace, before they descended down between their bodies and all traces of clothing between them vanished.

Safrin’s body, though appearing exquisitely mortal to Jack’s eyes, was for him a living constellation—a heat map of the solar system. Across her delicate breasts, swirling nebulae of desire ignited as they danced over her hardened nipples, each burst of starlight urging a skilled hand to set her pulses racing. Down the gentle slope of her waist, clusters of stars gathered and twirled like a secret galaxy, burning with an intensity that promised forbidden pleasures. And there, in the intimate valley where her thighs held the captain's waist fixed aginst her, her cunt lay like a hidden, midnight galaxy—dark, inviting, and throbbing with raw, celestial energy. It pulsed with a magnetic warmth that beckoned Jack to explore its depths, as if every caress could unleash the mysteries of an uncharted universe if only he was clever and brave enough to do so.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Jack - 03-07-2025

Happily devoured in any way, shape or form Safrin desires, much, much better men than Jack have ruined themselves over the goddess's touch, but he doubts any of them have ever been granted a peek into her mind. And if a peek is all he ever gets, the raw majesty of her being held at bay by her own whimsy and nothing more, he'll still die with a smile to have drowned in it even once.

Gasping in a breath as her very touch sets his skin alight and his bones to vibrating, their clothes vanish beneath his roaming fingers as if Jack has been the one to dissolve them, though he of course knows better than that. Safrin's mind and body unfurl around him, like he's been granted the ability to sail up into the endless midnight, navigating by touch and taste alone.

It's not unfair to surmise that the overwhelm of being here like this with the goddess is enough to send the captain to his knees, but rest assured it's (mostly) intentional. Certain that Safrin would be able to make him cum just like this, without ever laying a hand on him directly, at least from here he might be able to stand a chance of making the tryst worthwhile for her. Brave is a stretch, but cleverness Jack has in abundance, and it's with near desperate attention that he delves between her thighs to feast upon the stars with a hot and reverent tongue.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Safrin - 03-07-2025

Safrin’s head fell back, her breath catching in a soft gasp as Jack's mouth found its way between her thighs, her fingers tangling urgently into his hair. Her thighs tightened around him, starlight pulsing like a heartbeat across her exposed skin as pleasure radiated through her in celestial waves. She allowed her mind to open wider, filling Jack’s telepathy with a dizzying expanse of stars that pulsed and throbbed, raw with the possibility of creation; but it was a fragile, intricate system that required far more than mere skill to set ablaze.

The sensation of his tongue sliding over her, teasing and coaxing, sent flares of light through her cosmos, igniting clusters of sensation like meteors sparking against the vast darkness. Yet, for all his cleverness, a goddess required finesse beyond most mortals' understanding. Her fingers tangled more roughly into his hair, guiding him subtly—revealing just enough in that mental star map to hint at what might draw her closer to shattering.

Every flick and caress from him stirred the celestial tempest inside her, nebulae coiling tightly in anticipation. Stars trembled and asteroids shifted, balanced precariously on the edge of collapse and rebirth. Yet, each touch from the captain was merely a nudge against the greater universe of her pleasure; the tension was a force of nature itself, powerful and dangerous, begging Jack to push beyond cleverness, beyond instinct—to read her deeper, feel what she needed. Not unlike the good captain, Safrin got off on more than just mere physicality.

RE: I dreamed about it in the dark - Jack - 03-07-2025

Moaning against her, Jack's lips and tongue might be far too busy to speak, but like this, he doesn't need a physical voice to get his point across. [say]Show me more of you,[/say] he urges, his mental voice rough and low with arousal, his fingers pressing roughly into the soft peach of her backside to guide her further against his waiting mouth. [say]Gods, I want to see it all.[/say]

Her mastery over the cosmos, the way stars are born and collide and collapse in a spray of kaleidoscopic wonder beyond the understanding of most mortals. He wants to experience the power of Safrin's craft, to tremble at the unfurling of galaxies spun and nurtured in the cradle of her arms, to feel the silent roar of meteors through the dark, lonesome in their travels but never quite alone, a thread in part of Safrin's greater tapestry.

Resisting - barely - the urge to reach between them and grasp his cock, Jack surrenders to the goddess and her stars, giving himself even as he gives to her, and whilst it might be a somewhat dangerous position to be in, there are much, much worse ways to die.
